Dear Fellow Bears

I read with increasing frustration, the numerous posts and suggestions as to how we should best present our protest this evening. It's very simple!

Protest OUTSIDE THE GROUND. do NOT go inside. do what Celtic and Brian Dempsey did! Organised, civilised but pointed demonstration by MASS support OUTSIDE THE GROUND! It is the most effective demonstration any football support can do!

So forget turning backs. 72 minute walk outs. all that dramatic, choreographed nonsense. it's too complicated but more importantly it's not effective! Once inside the ground, the club has your money. And this is ALL about money!

Sometimes the simple solutions are the most effective. Now if only we had our own Brian Dempsey!

Problem is most fans can't see that our
Club is in turmoil.
All these fans want to know is who we are signing next. Sorry to say that when all the fans do rally against this
We will be in administration again and it
Would be too late.

And please stop talking about needing real gers men to fix this club. These are the real gers men that killed it.
Bring in someone who knows how to run a big club. That is what we need.
And lastly need a new manger who likes to play attractive football.

You could well be correct SPM just a thought will the police allow hopefully thousands of supporters making a fair degree of noise but with no intention of going into the ground the right to hold this mass demonstration without any previous notice to them? Not trying to rain on your parade oops just wondering that's all

I agree that simple is best.
I would also urge all fans to focus on the simple subjects of protest; clarity, honesty and facts.
These are things that we can all agree on regardless of our opinions about individuals or any allegiances we may have to different parties.
We are all Rangers supporters and we all want our club to be well run, sustainable and harmonious.
Let the banners and chants reflect these ideals and come together as a unified support. After all, Clarity, honesty and facts were what we were promised two years ago and we have yet to be given any of them. If our call is for these things and they are still not forthcoming then this will give us more of an idea of who we can trust and who we can't

Well said SPM. with regards the police. they won't be either ready or equiped to deal with it. 25,000 bears screaming for Green to go "outside" with their wallets intact will certainly help this cause

@2 how the hell will they stop it when thers a match on they stop the traffic so edmiston drive is clear to stage a protest

We should focus on McCoist tonight, Green will sacrifice him to appease us then we can turn our attention to the boardroom, in my opinion ousting McCoist is the first step as at least we will be playing football again under a real manager. Losing Smith is not a disaster, keeping McCoist is!

@2. Good point. Better to take our time and do this right. Involve the Police. Agree times, locations etc. hopefully with the policy's collaboration it also ensures no Neanderthals ambush what needs to be a peaceful but pointed demo.

Celtic fan in peace here. Demo outside the ground tonight AND Saturday certainly the best way forward. Before anyone gets critical as I'm a Celtic fan not everyone outside the club wants to see Rangers suffer anymore. This type of demo does work as we have shown in the past. Hit the board in their pockets, it will drive share-price down further, short-term damage to club ie revenue etc worth it long-term with a proper board in place.
