Barry Ferguson was supposed to sign last night however his flight from Heathrow was held up all night due to another plane going on fire! I spoke to him for about 20 minutes and he's coming up as a player coach with a gentlemen's agreement of taking over as manager in 12 months time!

Very hard to believe, especially the managerial bit.
Fact is that we don't need him as a player and if the club is looking to replace McCoist then there has to be a significant number of potential replacements with a better pedigree than Ferguson.
