Rangers to make a serious big for Scott Allan & take Stevie May on loan plus they have been interest in Stefan Scougall bid plus Nicky Law going the other way

Think Stevie May would be a great addition however not sure he is ready to give up on England just yet. Can't see this happening. Scott Allen is a fine talent however if the soap dodgers are interested we will struggle to match the money.

Nicky Law going anyhere is a fantastic bit of news especially if we can get a football player in exchange the would be impressive, getting anyone to take him will in itself be impressive.

Alan is surely the most important signing for us now and whilst they are saying there will be no more 'statement' signings at Ibrox in the new financial commonsense world we are inhabiting I personally feel a player such as Allan counts as a major signing given his age and undoubted talent. He will play for Scotland that is a certainty and given we are a Championship team recovering from admin and the 4th tier demotion I think this is tremendous that we are even signing players this good.

Think of Cribrari, Peralta and Kevin Kyle all totally awful players and compare Allan, Wilson, young very highly rated Scots add to this rated pros such as Eustace and Kiernan, we are not anywhere near the top of SPFL standard yet but we are heading in the right direction with the management and players we have got already.

From what I hear Allan wouldn't join Celtic. He's a massive Rangers fan, grew up supporting us and grew up not far from the stadium. I hear he'd jump at the chance to join his boyhood club.
