Murty to stay on until end of season

18 Feb 2017 09:22:21
It's all doom and gloom about the Celtic game for obvious reasons but after thinking on it, if we get a wee bit of fresh momentum with Murty we may even grab a point albeit the game is at Porkheid.

2.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 09:35:15
Aye we'll get a point if the game lasts 2mins and even that might be a push

3.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 10:02:19
Sure we lasted longer than that at Ibrox

4.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 10:12:34
We beat an injury ravaged Morton 2-1 (and they missed an open goal, how on earth does that translate into giving Celtic a game? Cone on.

5.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 11:13:51
A wins a win, we ground that win out spoc
And even changed the formation
Have belief, Sellick are beatable

6.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 11:28:54
Agree Shotts, but I obviously feel more confident at Ibrox, it's so difficult to get anything at their place, but I also say it might just be the match wher we take something, that's often how football goes.

7.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 11:29:56
Of course there beatable but we're terrible

8.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 12:39:48
Celtic are beatable but not by you lot.

9.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 14:09:54
Ceptic r beatable and we can do it, if they were that a great team why r they not still in Europe if we play a strong defensive game and hit them on the counter attack we will beat them

10.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 14:11:54
Fear no Foe, you can never predict these games and it's all about who's up for it and events on the field . Don't care what anyone says. can't wait to see how that lot cope when they do get beat . It will happen and I never look at any game we play expecting we'll be beat. Losers mentality!

11.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 15:52:11
Is this the "build yourself up for a mighty fall" starting again. Celtic will beat Rangers at Celtic Park, by a similar if not better score than last time they met there. Wishful thinking if you think otherwise imo.

12.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 16:34:34
It's more than wishful thinking
You have got to b positive, is it wise to think
We r going to lose? Or is it simply not good enough
And hope for the best?
Sellick are beatable, I've said that again

13.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 17:41:41
It maybe isn't wise to think you will lose. But its definitly realistic to think you will lose. that's twice iv said you will lose, make that 3 times.

14.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 17:58:11
It's unrealistic to think that we will lose
And more wise to think of a win
And in most cases I'm pretty sure a draw
Would b took the now . That's optimistic

15.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 19:32:38
Can't see us getting any change off Celtic for the foreseeable future. However, if we are to cause an upset then we need to press them high up the park and not let them waltz up to our 18 yard box like we normally do.

16.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 19:45:46
I remember when we were as arrogant as the Celtic fans are now. They have short memories the lot of them. They will never have players like Gascoigne, Laudrup, GvB, Wilkins, Stevens, Butcher, even players like Caniggia. players from the World stage. The list goes on.

Celtic can claim Larsson, that's it! of course I forgot they have Dembele the latest World Class player. LOL!

17.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 20:38:34
Sour grapes gdog but at least we can appreciate good players. I agree the players you mentioned were good players, which I appreciate as a football fan.

18.) 18 Feb 2017
18 Feb 2017 21:45:56
We were never as arrogant as them.

19.) 19 Feb 2017
19 Feb 2017 02:46:49
Personally i would do a walter smith keep the back door shut at all costs vs celtic 5 at the back and end it 0-0 or 1-0 atleast then you have your respect intact

20.) 19 Feb 2017
19 Feb 2017 10:35:17
'They are beatable'

They have dropped 2 points all season, are unbeaten domestically and have a striker worth more than our entire squad. We need to get real, maybe, just maybe, Fods is better than Gordon. After that? Not one of our players would get a start for Celtic.

Major rebuild needed.

21.) 19 Feb 2017
19 Feb 2017 11:47:08
Fod is not better than Gordon. more agile perhaps. McKay would get on the bench. Kiernan would be a starter. OK I took that too far I am clearly joking.

22.) 19 Feb 2017
19 Feb 2017 14:24:50
Gdog do you remember what happened to the old rangers because of the money spent on these players?

23.) 19 Feb 2017
19 Feb 2017 14:27:44
Geddes we have already lost heavily in Europe and we simply bounced back. By the end of CL we were clearly finding our feet. So us coping with defeat isn't the issue. We are well equipped and will improve again in the summer. We might drop points this season, but this will be draws as I can't see us losing in the league.

If we do however lose again imo it won't be by Rangers. The games against you now don't have the same fear or worry. I think Hearts, Aberdeen and Ross County away are harder games than going to Ibrox. Its only the crowd not the players that make a difference, should be the other way around.

19 Feb 2017 17:58:32
We are kidding ourselves if we reckon this excuse for a football team will finish top three, They are woeful. Today we saw a return to the crap formation, the return of Kiernan who was a waste of space. Hill was destroyed for pace. Our goalkeeper sold two goals. Halliday continues to get a game despite being crap. I could go on but it is pointless. We are seeing the results of King's failure to invest serious money in football players and we are now seeing the clear failure of Warburton and his cronies to acquire even one decent player despite all the bull about how great McParland was. King needs to make a serious statement about his commitment by bringing in a top quality management team and finding a way to bankroll some quality signings. Totally embarrassing. Shades of McCoist's team and shades of everything that has been wrong for the past five seasons. Rant over!

25.) 19 Feb 2017
19 Feb 2017 18:54:29
What gets me is we are losing to less than mediocre teams but they are putting more fight and effort in and that is a large part of the problem.

26.) 19 Feb 2017
19 Feb 2017 18:59:04
Totally agree with TOMUSA. No point in getting another interim manager in because I can't see what anyone else would be able to do with this squad. They're just not good enough.

27.) 19 Feb 2017
19 Feb 2017 18:51:28
Only 7 weeks ago we ran the manky mob close. a miller sitter and a cock up by forrester when 2 on 1. only 10 months ago we beat them deservedly in the cup semi with practically same squad. what went wrong?

28.) 20 Feb 2017
19 Feb 2017 23:48:52
While I agree with most of your points Tom I can't agree the keeper sold both goals. No chance of first second comes through a load of bodies n he has basically no time to react

29.) 20 Feb 2017
20 Feb 2017 00:32:45
Never known so many Rangers fans suck up and shite themselves from selick. Grow a set and get behind our team. Deary me lads.

30.) 20 Feb 2017
19 Feb 2017 00:36:02
God better than Gordon? Jesus have a word with yourself Gordon is pish but Fid is brutal

31.) 20 Feb 2017
19 Feb 2017 23:43:36
Chinabairn you're forgetting they had 2 or 3 really good chances at Ibrox as well.
They are a mile ahead of us wake up pains me to say it.

32.) 20 Feb 2017
20 Feb 2017 07:48:18
I'm sure if he was advised he was staying in charge till the end of the season he'd do a celebratory forward roll, followed by a cartwheel finishing with a handstand.

Hopefully at this point the board realise that he is a nut case and give the job to an experienced manager (even till the end of the season)

Fabadabadoo: Can't say I remember as there never was an old Rangers.
