According to the sub Pedro's been given the green light to spend uoto 1 million on a key player. Not going to get much these days for that kind of money.

Maybe a bit more than that if we get into the group stage

We couldn't get half a Joe Garner for 1 million 😔

He didn't say he had a million to spend on a player, he was asked by reporter. If there's a player you want that would cost a million would the board be willing to pay it n he said yeah. Might well have more than that but the reporter mentioned the fee no Pedro

We won't get anywhere a group stage this year. Keep dreaming.

I hope so but I don't think he'd say no.
I do not think we should bring in 12 players as I've heard. Especially 3-4 at £250-400k or so would love 2-3 established 26-28yr olds at £1-1.5m and yeah obviously we will purchase players at around £300k plus free's and loans but we must get some players OUT

so you andy you believe we have 4 million to spend on playerS? i think given kings silence you will be let down.

however i do think we can make the group stage given our decent enough past performances in europe.

me, if your right, i would prefer spend 2 million on 2 youngsters who we can sell for money like they do.

also joe garner isn't that bad, he set up the goal agaisnt them and scored one? isn't too bad return.

JD

Group stages? We will be lucky to get 2 rounds in the qualifying stages. Won't do anything in Europe and the manager will be under pressure right away

I think the Europe situation should be treated realistically, we have been playing the likes of Elgin for most of the last 5 years, so not making the group stages shouldn't be held against Pedro.

Really can't see us getting out the qualifying rounds this year especially with this team we have, we will probably get horsed out by a pub team from Malta or something like that

If scoring in a 5-1 defeat and setting a goal up in another 5-1 defeat is you're definition of "not a bad return" then thank god you're not in charge

I think we should at least give garner another season. Unless we get a good offer for him which ain't going to a happen. He could well get better with other players around him and in a different formation. Only one way to find out. Fact of the matter is next to none of our players are good enough to wear the Jersey so you can hardly just lay the blame at his door. Next season will show us what he's really made of. If pedro gives him that chance that is.

Add to that an injury time winner against Partick 😂.

I agree with the Garner statement. I don't think the guys a bad player. He's not the type to play on a centre half's shoulder he's a link up striker. More of a number 10 or a false 9 if you like. Dragging defenders out of position to allow our wingers more space in behind the oppositions defence. He's a strong lad good in the air and likes the physical side of the game. He could do well given a good run of games
