Any more news on somaila i shouldn't think a work permit would be that much of an issue with international caps under his belt. Looks pretty solid.

Rashid will not be coming anywhere near Ibrox. Rashid would need to have played in 75% of his country's international games in the past 2 years and he has played in none.

Thats nt 100% True onlyshow! your right in hat your saying he does need to have played 75% of hs international games in 2 years although can stll apply for visa, can be granted if they feel asthough the player is going to be value when sold on ect.

It makes it very unlikely he would be given a visa. Many an english club have failed to bring in non EU players that are better than Rashid. It's very unlikely Rashid would be given a Visa.

There is also a stipulation around the contract on offer. If he is going to earn within a certain percentage bracket within the club or something, I don't quite remember but it is not all down to just caps for country, if it was barely any of the foreign players would be playing in Scotland/ UK.

I know a few Africans over here and all they do is study and sell weed lol so if they can get in.

(for the record tho I don't believe all Africans sell weed I know quite a few that work really hard in real jobs)

Although I know a lot that sell weed too, do you think he should get a crop on to help fund himself

visa's aren't granted based on assumption so to say he might be given one because there is a case for re-sale is nonsense.

Onlyshow can you give examples of these better players that couldn't get a visa to play in England

Off the top of my head no I can't remember the players names. I do however remember that quite a few over the years that were rejected visa's based on their lack of international football. Rashid does fall into the category of lack of international football.

Why is it that football players from some countries need be to get a work permit to be able to work in this country, the players are known as they have played in their own leagues, yet total strangers, refugees are accepted in, with maybe no chance of gaining employment.
