PC wants 3 players from mexican league pena, abella and eduardo herrera. As i said before i have watched mexican football for 6 years. Good standard but just wirried that these players won't adapt. But possibly bringing 3 together would be good idea and hopefully settle them in.

Mexican football is one of the best supported and improving leagues world wide. I watch it most weekends when I am in Texas and the standard is very strong + it is improving all the time.

One major benefit is that the players are hungry for success. Mexico is now producing the sort of players that Scotland produced 50 or so years ago!

Providing they can acclimatise then this was be a positive set of signings which, when added to the Portuguese contingent and the new Scots lads that we are linked with should give us a positive out look for the new season!

Improving yes but good not really. I've warched a few mexican games and it makes scottish football look like the seria A. If pedro buys these players I worry they will struggle to adapt to a scottish style of play.

There is a difference between watching a few and watching their games every week. Who are you trying to kid! The Scottish National Team would struggle against Mexico and indeed against most of the South American National sides.

There are a number of quality players in Mexico that will end up in the top leagues in Europe and we will be very fortunate if we are able to secure the services of the three Mexican players and the two Portuguese players.

Add these five to the players that are likely to join from the SPL and with the return of Rossiter then, providing that the team can gel, we will have a good team and a team that can challenge for the SPL.

Get a grip how often do we see players going from Mexican league to the Spanish, Italian and French leagues. Then think how often do players from up here move to any of the more decent leagues? Just about any 1st division football league is a step up from our pile of steaming sh1t. If they are good enough for the manager then they will do for me

Remember that Jaurez guy that Celtic signed and was initially hyped up by the press.

Not even mediocre.

Mexican league is far better than spl. Just look at last year apart from celtic no team can win a european match. They all struggle agaisnt so called didy teams. But if we can get 3 players from mexico then that is good they can work together. Bringing in only 1 could be difficult to adapt to life here. From what i know these 3 players would vastly improve the team. Fast strong and technically good.
