Cardiff and Forrest are both interested in signing Barrie McKay.

Dunoonbluebear posted on here last week saying he spoke to Neil Warnock in a resturaunt and he was saying he might take a punt on McKay, and he got laughed at for it. Now the Sun's reporting that Warnock wants him at Cardiff. Either the Sun get their stories from here, or there could've been some truth in what dunoon said.

Let McKay go for 750k and attempt to get atleast 20% sell on clause. Settle for 10%.

Lol I did tell you's guys that I spoke to Neil Warnock and that he was interested mckay and as rfc said I was laughed at. I'm just glad I've been proved right now. I feel smug Haha 😂

i think if we got 500K for mckay we'll be doing well i would add a sell on clause but i can't see him making any kind of impact down south i for one won't miss him that boy shows no desire to play in our jersey and is a passenger we don't need just now but we also must use the cash to get walker because on first impressions dalcio isn't the answer

That goal against celtic was superb but it was a long long time ago

i've read reports we are only asking 750k for BM

surely he's worth more than that given the money in
that division especially as it's warburton that's in for him we shd be asking a million + at least for all the dross he left us we can't shift!

seriously though i think we shd be asking for more for him or at very least have a large sell on clause included in case he gets a big move

Totally agree colshygers, he boy has bags of ability but if yer attitude isn't right then you're a passenger. Walker on the other hand puts in graft and has better end product and physicality. Wonder if the jamtarts fancy a straight swap

I can see McKay leaving but part of can't help but think it's a wee bit of mind games to see if he really wants to stay.
This happened with McCoist years ago with Jock Wallace (funny enough I think the team in for him was Cardiff again) and it turns out well for us back then.

Just a thought anyway

I personally would like to see him stay but he needs to be 100% committed

If Pedro prefers Dalcio to Mckay I'm worried. I know it was his first game and nerves obviously played a factor but he was terrible Thursday night.

Candeis on the other hand looks very quick and industrious, can see him becoming a real hit with his workrate and effort.

I would still keep Mckay, on his day he's unplayable. It's the managers Job to get the best out of players like Mckay. I get the impression Pedro isn't interested though, which is his perogative I suppose. This time 6 months ago Mckay was great, no we've got fans coming on questioning his ability, dedication and character. Couldn't make it up!

El Minto - 11 months left on his contract, take the 750k add on a sell on clause and we are sorted.

Would rather see McKay Stay one of very few players with that extra quality. Agreed was a passenger at times but would like to see him along side some of the new players and see how he goes.

Mckay isn't interested in staying, it isn't like he is being forced out the door, he wants to go. Dalcio looks a better player than Mckay.

He is being forced out the door though, Look Pedro Doesn't rate him so end of, therefore being made to train with the under 20s tells me he is being forced out the door, and could be a massive mistake IMO.

He has 11 months on his contract and is refusing to sign an extension, let him go as he clearly wants too. "but he has potential" potential he has been showing for 2 seasons now but isn't consistent at all. Cash in on him before he goes for nothing.

Mckay is a much better player than Dalcio. Nas on full throttle would have skinned the right full back last Thursday.

I believed dunoon at the time, good on you.

Your right if Candeias is everything you want in a winger does he have a left footed twin?

Onlyshowaround. Dalcio looks a better player than McKay!?
You my friend are having a laugh. Seen Dalcio for 90mins on Thursday night and that was long enough. If you think he's better than McKay after that then you seriously need to have a word with yourself.

fair do's onlyshow - last yr of his contract so if 750k is all that's on the table i'd take it but if 2 clubs in for him we cld play them off against one another and try and up the price through a bidding war (as agents love) bigger cut for all parties

we must try and get a sell on clause in there tho just in case

hearts shd also take note - as walkers in almost exactly same situ and they are holding out for a mil when he's in last yr of his contract - let them wait i say

if window closes come jan they will sell and it won't be anything near a mil - prob half

Lee_mcf, Dalcio was poor against progres and still looked more exciting than McKay has in the past 12 months.

Dalcio reminded me if Oz winger Ally McCoist signed early in his reign. Looks neat and tidy but never a threat. Would keep Baz all day long. Pedro could have and should have turned this around.

Barrie McKay is not physically strong enough is no where near good enough for the English championship if we can get £750K for him I'd accept it,
