Advocaat to be the new Rangers Manager for a second time and not Derek Mcines, representives are talking to Rangers and will be free to join on the end of November once his Dutch contract expires, There hasn't even been any contact between Rangers and Mcines wich in my opinion is a pity as i would definitely prefer Del Mcines, i'm not a great fan of ex managers coming back but Its looking to be true as he has been staying and looking at homes in Glasgow while Advocate has been over with the Dutch squad i also heard hopefully its made up rumours but came from quite a reliable source but hoping its a bookies ploy and may be the next big name Favourite or second favourite to get us to spend more money on This saga. who would fellow bears prefer DA or DEL M, thoughts please.

I can't see it happening but logically it would make sense, no compensation required to bring him in. They would need to make funds available to the wee general I would imagine. Time will tell who the manager is going to be, until then its just talk.

I'd love that but I thought he was retiring

no chance, advocaat has made his millions. He'll retire after holland games

Still think either McInnes or Murty.

It won't be Advocaat. He apparently told his wife Sunderland was his last job, then took the Holland job. He will almost definitely retire. Apart from that, last time he was in charge he had a significantly better transfer budget than we have now.

Yeah he's done his time and what a time the guy has had. Great manager.

What if Advocaat came in til end of season with Graeme Murty under his wing? Surely DA and DK are best of buddies so he might be willing to help him out?

New to this, but the wee general did say he left Scotland to early! I do think he is in with a shout of the job! But not at the moment, think they will keep murty till end of season,

Is this the same advocaat that has just stated mcinnes is the right man for the job? Loved watching us under advocaat but sadly we simply do not have the funds for players that we used to
