Rangers will make their move for Derek McInnes in the next 24 hours as the Ibrox club home in on their new boss.

He is set to be joined in Govan by No.2 at Pittodrie Tony Docherty and Rangers will shell
out close to £1million to Aberdeen for their new management team.

Is that a guess or have you got info on it. personally i don't know if I want mcinnes anymore. but if he gets the job I will back him 100% it's just strange we haven't made contact with them before now. surely if we wanted him we would have tried to get him before now. if we do make an offer for him after all this time why did we wait so long. I would love to know who else the board have looked at for the job

Personally I’m glad we’ve held off as we have had a decent points return in that period (not excellent though) where as theirs has been shocking! A fantastic platform for him to build on and I’m not being unfair when I say I expect a points haul of 65pts minimum from here as that is what I think Murty would achieve if left in caretaker till the end of the season.

If our youth coach can get that level of performance out of that group of players, then image what this titan of the game can achieve. #underwhelmed

As always though, full backing will be given by myself, and many many others, I have no doubt.

I'm against the appointment of McInnes and always have been, but bringing that republican bigot Docherty with him would be the final straw. He despises Rangers but would happily take our coin. No thanks, Rangers board.

I’m hoping the Record end up with egg on their faces they’re spouting that we’re offering 1million severance package now, I hope it’s Clarke and everyone’s got it wrong
