Think Murphy will be a good signing when it gets over the line but would very much like to see a solid Cb signed, if Bruno and Cardoso go then we will be lacking depth, also read that a possible swap with Killie for Jones with lee Hodson going to them, although I think that unlikely I wouldn't mind Hodson leaving as he has been poor but would still leave us light of cover a rb, really need to start growing some decent depth in the team, very few clubs have successful seasons with a depleted squad and having some good quality cover is a huge step to winning the league.

If Hodgson goes the new lad on loan from QPR should provide adequate cover and if Russell Martin comes in too which has been rumoured then he can play full back or centre half so having Alves and Cardoso go wouldn't be too problematic with Wilson and Bates first choice, Martin as cover and McCrorie able to play there if needed. I'd like to see us look at Soutar of Hearts, think the boy is class and would be a terrific signing.

I think we need another wide player (on top or Murphy) , a central midfielder and a striker to partner Morelos. Still think Naismith would be a great signing and could play numerous positions, out wide or through the middle off a main striker or alongside.

Naismith, Murphy and Morelos would be a fantastic front three. Even if Naismith was handled so he is not injured for big games. Windass or
Candeias could play in his place.

If he is willing to go to Killy he canny be asking the world, could even offer him bonuses for games played and goals etc to keep his wage lower with an incentive to play and score.

Camoo

What is the point of getting a player so he can be handled not to be injured for big games? Naismith would still want a decent wage and it’s pointless paying him for weeks on end without playing him. He also has hardly played recently and I doubt he would accept only playing in a handful of big games.

Wilson and Bates first choice centre back pairing, that would be catastrophic!

Rick, when I see your name I know it’s going to be negative 😂. Did you not see Wilson and Bates boss a 50 million quid striker and the thumb?!

I really don't get all this negativity about Alves he has not been that bad and is a solid defender to get rid of him and cardoso to have Martin and Wilson or bates is ridiculous

Surely we could afford more than killy buddy? Why not offer the same wage plus 2k per game and 2k per goal lol

Loving all the collective memory loss when talking about a 0-0 draw. The pumpings dished out to *Rangers* by Hamilton, Dundee, St. Johnstone and Killie are forgotten because players who've largely been utter dug meat for over a year performed in ONE game, in which Celtic had a bad day at the office. Can't wait to see, when they lose their next game, all these newly-crowned world-beaters returning to being classified as horse-dung again.

I wish all this talk about Naismith returning would stop. Rangers are not interested in signing him.

Agee there is some cover at the back with McCrorie and goss but with a few injuries we could be in trouble, I like Wilson and Bates but can be hit or miss in some games, particularly Wilson, great game against Celtic but has been a few games he’s been awful also, would love a really good CV to sign to marshal the defence, agree with Naismith, though he divides opinion I think him behind Fredo would bring a lot of goals and would be a nightmare to defend against

Souttar is a great player but is devoted to Hearts he feels he owes them for taking him from Dundee United
