I posted pre-season where our money would be going and the impact it would have, scoffed at the time though.?
I only will post if I am aware of things. so hear goes. Gio will be dismissed, the legal team are working on this at present, there is a short list as suggested, pending any more dismissals the 3 are, Michael Beale ( problem is fee for QPR)

No the board see it as a conundrum, if we sack him it's going to cost 3m odd, then getting a new coach will cost x amount
The league is most likely finished, it's whether the board wants to just get by the season and maybe get a cup, (Doubtful) or have a new manager who if doesn't kick the ground running, our fan base will want gone by the start of next season, isn't as easy as just sack GIO.

Guys
We are no doubt on downward spiral at moment – but I would like to think that common sense decisions will be made at a higher level. Few notes below:
1. I don’t think GVB has the desire to take this team forward nor the tactical skills – yes I felt he was best option at the time but his current demeanour and backroom staff look lost now. How can a team that reached a Euro final look so lost, afraid and disjointed?
2. If GVB gets removed from job then we need the right people making the decisions – I mean true professional football people and not just any board member/ fan who has the cash to say so – NO more Caixinha's please - who will come in and waste money.
3. I applaud those who have kept our club afloat and seen us move into the black for the first year in ages -but the time to invest and build was on back of 55 and not then assume that we were at top of the mountain and that those same players would keep us there for a long time! football is a fluid business and small improvements are needed all the time to maintain progression and hunger.
4. The team needs decimated regarding players who want to leave, those who are now past their sell by date and others who are frankly not good enough to play in the jersey – I also understand we have horrendous injuries and that is not helping (but buying injury prone players does not help either) . Our scouting seems non-existent at moment too.
5. I can take getting beaten by teams only when we put same or greater effort in than them – how many times has this happened this season - then on most occasions, we look devoid of ideas when behind and chasing a game.
6. The silence is deafening from Ibrox – make a statement soon regarding the manager – either back or make changes. – PLEASE TELL US! I would love to know if players are being bought FOR him or does he have any say in those coming in and let’s be honest do we want to spend big money on Sands and Tillman our loan guys – Sands I feel for, as he is playing all over the place but Tillman has skills no doubt but body language is appalling at times. Surely we could do better for less outlay.

I might be in the minority but I would hold on to GVB, at least until the Summer. I also want rid of the Parks Family, they are becoming a liability although the son has been a liability for much longer. Remember, he was one of the characters that wanted Pedro.
We need to also remember that it was Dave King that brought everyone together to turn the Club round and since he left the post of Chairman, I would suggest that things have gone backwards.
I am not a fan of Wilson, that is no secret on this Board. The quality of signing since he became DoF has undoubtedly deteriorated since he took over that role with very few of his signings in either the team that won the league under Gerard or that qualified for a European Final. What is more, his predecessors brought in quality players that understood Rangers and what winning was all about. Not only has he failed to replace these guys with quality alternatives, he hasn't replaced them at all.
We also need to remember that if we want rid of GVB, it was Wilson that brought him in.
The Board speaks highly of Wilson and the player trading model but only one of his signings has been sold at a significant profit. The other two were Rangers players previous to his arrival. Does anyone really see any of his signings making us substantial money.
Worryingly, we might be stuck with a lot of his signings, guys who have no heart, lack fight and don't have a winning mentality.
The money is there. The Accounts Tod us a lot, what wasn't there told us a lot more! Money received for qualification for Europe's Top Tournament, the sale of Aribo and Bassey are all monies that will show in our next set of Accounts. Getting rid of Wilson will cost a lot less than getting rid of Gio, it's just a pity he can't take the rubbish that he signed this season with him! At least we won't hopefully squander any more money signing third rate players!

Don’t know where I stand on Gio but it’s easier to stand on the sidelines and demand he be fired than the person who has to actually do it. Don’t want just anyone running our club I want people who have our best interests at heart. SWS - Arsenal are flying high at the moment ( top class manager), and if I recall right they went through a period where they had a few bad results but STUCK by Arteta.
Think the majority of our supporters just want an answer sooner rather than later on the future of Gio and his backroom team, and to be fair we have had a horrendous amount of injuries, but should still be beating teams such as Livingston, St Johnstone, and St Mirren.
We have 5 weeks until the league resumes so ?the correct decision is made by the board.

I think your 100% right there storm 50% wage if sacked and I would add I think board know they are partly culpable for current situation and are willing to take the hit and give gio a proper transfer window and chance to get a few players back my concern is it's too late they might also be doing it so there is no pressure on them to give a new manager transfer funds in January and could see gio getting sacked early February.

I hear the arguments reference Arsenal and Arteta however I understand that Arteta has been 100% involved in every player signed and has the final say on who comes in. He isn't part of a committee deciding on players and he certainly doesn't have to rely on the incompetent scouting network that we have at Rangers these days. One look at the quality of player signed by Wilson simply goes to emphasise that Wilson and his cohorts are not the answer when it comes to identifying quality players.
I await the argument that we don't have the money however I would argue against this based at the very least on the number of decent quality Bosmans available. With the right manager and the right Chairman you can secure these players as has been proved in the past. Wilson simply has a limited network and is an Agent's godsend for getting a good payoff for injury prone players and players that are just not good enough.
