Personaly think people reporting 4.5 year deal has been signed are 2 points. 1 being we have spoken to liege and fee agreed to bring him in now or 2 way off the mark as it's very uncommon for a players contract to run out mid season if he did actualy sign the pre contract for 4.5 years and we wait till the end of the season. seems bit strange. personally I hope it's a done deal now.

My information is we will be finished our business by Monday. Raskin and Whittiker will both be finalised and signed. Raskin we are hoping to announce tomorrow or over weekend as John said pre contract is all sorted and Wilson has negotiated about 90% of deal while in Belgium. My information is only need to sort how we pay ie lump sum followed by set payments.
Whittiker is desperately trying to force the move I'm told fee will be roughly 1.8m and he will be 4.5 yrs like Cantwell and Raskin.
Any other business will be a deal that's too good to turn down or if we get late exit for certain players. Told late exits could be loan to buy deals due to limited time to negotiate fees etc.

My understanding if then Raskin situation is that the player wants to move right now. He wants to play football. Personal terms have been agreed in principle, but the club NEEDS to pay the fee to get him a move now. He doesn’t want to sit in their reserve side until the summer.

Don't panic, remember Norwich rejected a bid for Cantwell guys and that was because he had already signed a pre contract but it wasn't made public, it's the same situation with Raskin, the latest I have heard is we hope to have him at the game on Saturday to meet the crowd. Whittaker is still on but Wilson has been in Belgium.
