On the local Belfast news- a number of English championship clubs have inquired to Rangers about signing McCausland.

It’s strange how he failed a trial at ADO Den Haag not so long ago, now he’s being talked about as a great prospect. Personally I don’t think he’s good enough for Rangers.

What is the story behind McCausland? Initially seemed one of the more promising players coming through, but seemed to end up behind younger players in the pecking order, along with the trial in Holland. I would guess Davis is a big part in him getting his chance but not one I was expecting to see much of this season.

simply down to circumstances mate. many uk boys would struggle in the netherlands, many senior dutch have struggled here and in europe, maybe the boys been helped by davis.

Youngsters develop at different paces and have dips along the way . He`s maybe lucky that we haven`t sent him out on loan to kill his career but he is scoring a lot for the B team and certainly has shown a bit of creativity in the part games he`s played. Raskin twice and Dessers have both wasted clear chances when played in by the boy. To say he`s not good enough for a team that Wright plays in is a joke . Give him a chance, let's see what he can do before we decide that he`s not good enough. When boys break into the team and do well we should build on that not ignore them like we have done with Devine, King and Lowry .

Does anyone know why he chose to leave ws it money, path to first team football, not interested in staying at rangers or saw what happened with Billy Gilmour and thought I'm having some of that.
