Cheers for the info Copland. Exciting times. Would love Wright to be moved on for a fee, aswell as Yilmaz. Would be great if we can sign a starting left back and a right winger of quality. Would really put down a marker for the second half of the season. Ideally I’d like us to sign Doig for LB. Just don’t think it’s realistic which is understandable. Signing a right winger tho, is exciting!

Only seen Doig a few tomes including once in Verona. Good age, plenty first team experience and was arguably the best left back in Scotland when he was at Hibs, so basing my opinion on that.

RaskinLoyal, seen Doig a lot in Scotland to know he is a good young player with potential. Also seen him for the Scotland u21s, in which he captained, and last season with Verona. Obviously him being Scottish helps, and hence the reason why I would sign him. He’s one that got away. He’s not really playing this season, and that’s why I hope there’s a chance. I doubt it though.

Gofor McAusland is a young guy, ideally he’s a backup player just now but the potential is there for him to be a key player in the future.

Silva is 6’1, he’s not as lean as people might think.

A didn’t think much of doig at hibs seems we bullied him a bit in games a watched against the spoon burners he was lightweight and didn’t have a great final ball maybe he’s improved but for all our fans to go on about him all the time a don’t get the hype.

Yes RaskinLoyal, Doig was one that got away. No one said wee were interested. You never know, a lot goes on behind the scenes no one knows about. Instead of wasting £3m maybe more of Ridvan, Doig, in hindsight would have been the more sensible choice. We can’t just say go foreign players you know. We need Scottish ones for European quota. Doig was a player of high potential at Hibs. Same with Ferguson at Aberdeen. Also one that got away.
