Not to sure about the South American Market tbh, bernabei was quoted to be the next big thing at left back coming from a south American football journalist when he was signing for the other lot. The guy can't get a look in, I honestly think we need to start looking closer to home first before we miss our next load of Scottish players who go on to better things.

If we want quality Scottish players then we need to pick them up when they are youth players since we will be asked to pay over the odds by other Scottish Teams for their quality players and chances are we will be up against EPL and European Sides for their signature.
Sadly over a number of years we haven't been good at finding quality young players and developing them and likewise we have been poor at finding quality players elsewhere in Europe and further afield and have expected to see teams accept low ball offers for good players, yet we complain when we see other Clubs play the same games with us.
Hopefully with the new Management team in place things will change.
