Big Borna has been great for Rangers over the years but everything comes to an end . If he wants to go to Roma and we can get some cash in for him now rather than let him go for nothing in the summer we should do it as it would suit all parties. Maybe this is why we have been looking at left backs not because Yilmaz is leaving.

Happy with this! Wish him well, get some cash in, give Ridvan a run to end of season and retain/ sell depending how he does. Sterling, Yfeko and Devine (if not out on loan) can all cover.

If Barasic does go will only wish him well, he has been a servant to Rangers and played many great games, think it could be a replacement for him not mentioned anywhere.

Spoke to a few mates down south after getting linked with Thomas that has seem him play and they tell me he'd be a very good signing for us.

The guy has been a good servant. To me it looks like he's always given it 100%, there's been great aspects to his game (crossing is excellent, but also some flaws defensively that have stopped him from become great. Surely no one would begrudge him a move to a club like Roma in what is surely his last big deal. Good luck to him if it pans out, I hope we've got a) Ridvan tied down, and b) a replacement lined up.

The only negative here for me is he's in the Euro squad, so replacing him takes up one of our three allowed changes. And with Silva and Diomande (hopefully) coming in that might mean we can't add anyone else (like a new no 9) to the Euro squad.

Nah if you’re going to let Borna go, he needs to be replaced, Devine out on loan for me, I think people are going way over the top about Ridvan, yeah he playing really well and good on him, but he’s been here a year and a half now and we’re only now getting what we paid for him, I don’t doubt his quality it’s his availability that concerns me.

So if Borna goes and Ridvan gets injured I wouldn’t be happy to have just Devine who is unproven and Sterling playing on his weakest flank. I like Sterling in midfield not shoehorned into defence because we were to daft to replace a Croatian international. I don’t think big Phil would be that mental anyway. He’s already said that these boys can’t leave until a suitable replacement is found.

Big borna has been great for us he will probably be number 2 at rangers now so if he goes to Roma to be no.2 for more money a bigger contract who can blame him he has given us all some cracking memories.
