If that's it then it's been a poor window. No striker baffles me. They have a massively better front line already. Sima, long term, Danilo on crutches, Silva can't be judged yet, dessers has just come onto a game but could go backwards again. I would have thought after out striker less run to the final they would have acted.

Hope the lack of a CF won’t come back and haunt us. I suppose we could pick up someone who doesn’t have a club. Even van Veen would be better than no one. At least he can score in the SPL.

Fintytint whi says they never acted if there's no player within our price range we shouldn't be buying for the sake of buying and we can hardly go and force clubs to sell or players to sign. There's so much hyperbole out there maybe we should relax a bit and actually enjoy supporting our club.

I I dunno Finty, we've swapped Lammers for Silva, have Diomande in to likely replace Cifuentes, and have added a right winger for the first time in years. don't think that's too bad. Another striker would have been nice but we've got Danilo and Sima to come back in and guys like Roofe still picking up a good wage, so not surprised we've not added another into that mix.

I get they're due to be out until the start of April. But the season runs till June, and they'll both be on good money, as will Roofe and Dessers and Silva. We can't just keep spending cash on strikers. the manager has wanted Silva, and has chosen to strengthen midfield and the wing. We won't even be able to add all the new signings to the euro squad as it is (given PC has said he wants another LB in there) .

To Jimbo and they will also need games to get up to speed and by that time it will be the tougher split games not when you want to be trying to bring unfit players back into fold.
