I’ve read a lot on line about Dessers goal during the week and a few comments suggesting he didn’t mean this. I have to be honest when I first seen this I wondered (for a split second) if he was laying the ball off to the side for somebody running on. As far as I can see, this was either the worst pass he’s made this season or the best goal he’s scored this season. I’m in the latter camp, I think this was an outstanding goal from a guy who really is starting to grow into the shirt. Still a bit to go but credit where credit is due.

The goal was top drawer the minute he got that ball he knew exactly what he was doing with it, some fans seem to have a target on certain players and quick to criticise but not so swift in praise it baffles me it really does, he can be frustrating but he's had some magic moments in him, let's hope that's him starting to find his feet now.

Correct, I think he meant it. He's starting to grow into the jersey. Remember, Mark Hately took time to settle and if Dessers can end up half the player Hately was I'll take it. It's human nature to take time to settle when you move.

he scuffed his shot and the defender missed the clearance.
I do not see the hype around this goal.
His Betis goal was much better and its not even close.

He's meant it mate, very frustrating player who is exceptionally clever at times, but looks like a Sunday league player at others.

To be honest, Dessers passing has probably been better than his finishing so far. He's had a couple of great assists which gives me comfort he meant it. He might not have hit it that well (not a lot of force) but well enough. Good on him, he doesn't go hiding.

He's a likable guy and has scored a few goals granted but his touch control and general play and awareness is howling, maybe he just not suited to clement's system.

Common Dado, absolutely no doubt about it that dessers superbly taken goal was meant ?It was a sublime finish and CD9 is starting to show he can play for a club our size and perform well ? He's always given his all and never shrunk, so hats off to cyriel dessers, well done big man ?.

Wonderful goal from the big man. 100% meant it.
He has that in his locker. But also has the opposite end of the spectrum as well! There is no middle ground.
Can see him being our top scoring striker over the last few years though.
Can't fault his work ethic either.

1 goal every three games. Dessers is nowhere near good enough for rangers. Get Shankland in pronto!
