the board say the will not sell the stadium so are we ment to just take there word and going buy season tickets I do not think so they have never told us the truth ad failed to deliver for our club
if they are going sell murray park to
let us see the season out then I think its time they all steped aside murray park with good coaches ect could produce talent for years to come big mistake selling this asset what happens next season if we do not get promoted they will then sell ibrox I think we need all start pulling to gether before everying is sold off

1.) 29 Jul 2014
The statement was released by the football board and not the PLC board so their pledge does not carry any real clout as far as the stock exchange are concerned and can easily be reversed if they want to. BT61

Although we're Glasgow Rangers FC, we're also a business and we sink or swim on cash flow and profit.

50% down on season ticket sales doesn't make it easy for the Board to operate or plan for the future and maybe this is why Murray Park has been seen as a vital and last resort asset. I can only speculate that the directors need to look at all angles and keep the club afloat. The boycotting of season tickets is a spectacular own goal.

KF - I have to agree, the same group who are calling for a guarantee that no capital will be raised using the assets as security, are the same group who organized a boycott to hold back one of the main sources of revenue for the club

Just how do they expect the board to raise the required income?

Well said Kfraser in the beginning it was statements from dave king followed by the UoF, dave king gave up and has walk now we have the UoF doing more harm than good with there statements of boycotts. This is the biggest season and probably the most challenging in our history because if we don't make it into the spfl then we have another uncertain summer 2015/16 so please UoF back off and support the team you've had your 5 mins of fame.

before the fans even started this boycott the board sayed we had anuf funds to see the season out said they had investers at the agm they were going adopt a new player signing policy a new football operations officer new scout where a top priotry wallace sayed he could raise 5 million at click of a button could this be by using murray park as collartel the board have done nothing they have promised from day one if we give them cash they spend it on bonuses they do not spend a penny on the club see point if they would invest it in the team or club they just keep taking more and more money now want to sell ibrox and murray park board promised the had investment lined up so I ask where is this money I am no part of the uof just a concerned supporter and have been ever since club sold to whyte board need to prove to the supporters

6.) 29 Jul 2014
Yous are all debating would selling mp be the bast thing to do ffs if the board sell mp rangers fc will not see one penny from the sale this is being sold to pay the faceless investers more of there investment back

7.) 29 Jul 2014
Those people that slag the supporters for not bying there books know the reason people ain't buying the board caused this themself and before we get the people that like this board making comments on my post tell me one yes one thing this board have done for the good of our club

@7 Kept us afloat, secured new sponsors namely Red32, secured new shirt deal namely puma, brought in Boyd, Miller, Mcgreggor, Zaliukas etc, rented out Ibrox to the Commonwealth games committee, took the team on a tour of North America and so much more.

10.) 30 Jul 2014
Jyf is that why we are in such a mess all this penny contract stuff means nowt or we wouldn't be skint the people trying to run rangers fc have not got and have never had enough money of there own to be involved ohh that's right the support will pay for it blind leading the blind springs to mind

11.) 31 Jul 2014
Tmwnn, we are hardly skint or we wouldn't have signed players this season, since you seem to be in the know, what is the financial postion of rangers and there directors at present?

"we are hardly skint or we wouldn't have signed players this season"?? Are you an alien from another planet? What part of the £14.40 million loss in the 1st year of the "new era" did you miss? What part of the crisis loans of £1.5 million to see us through last season did you miss or the fact that 13,000 less season tickets have been sold this season?
Unless the share issue in September raises up towards it's target amount Rangers will not see out the season without secured loans from City vultures. Cup runs, cup wins and exciting entertaining football with Ibrox packed to the purlins or exciting young home grown talent that can be sold on for £3 million and £2.60 million profit (Gauld and Robertson) will secure the financial future of the club.
Is that likely with the current leaders of the football club?

lexlau only reason we signed these players was that the board thought we would all run and renew our season tickets guess the thought wrong once again

14.) 31 Jul 2014
Nbear you are spot on but some people don't see it or just don't want to.

15.) 31 Jul 2014
Tmwnn on post @7 you asked "tell me one yes one thing this board has done for the good of this club" I named a few and your reply does not make sense, how can getting us new sponsors and and shirt deal be the reason we are "in such a mess" if people don't want to buy their ST for what ever reason then that's up to them but don't tell me that it is helping our financial position and @7 you asked a question will you address my answer?

16.) 31 Jul 2014
Jyf I don't really think I need to answer your question as others have beat me to it cheers all and this bringing in players ffs we had to offload player to allow ally to bring some older mates in but if your happy with that good on you craig8688 I posted the same as you at 13 mate but it never went up anyway some people are easily pleased eh

17.) 31 Jul 2014
Jyf they should have got us sponsors with money as for the shirt deals another contract worth pennies they are to imbaressed to tell us the figures with these deals why are there no investers lined up ; I will tell you why cause anybody looking to give us money know that the charlieboy beet them to this big con money goes through the front door board take it straight out the side doors

18.) 31 Jul 2014
We signed the players, because mccoist wanted them simple as that, not to sell season books, and everyone has been a good signing.

19.) 02 Aug 2014
N3 jg you ask how are the board to raise money ffs that is there job that's why they were brought to the club were are these investers they bragged were on standby ime not meaning the 50 million we all know we won't be getting that umtil we reach the top league
