I sit here in disbelief about everyone shouting ibrox should be renamed it makes me laugh some of the biggest clubs all over the world do and make great money from it. Look at man city and arsenal both renamed there stadium and there was no uprour I think let's do as if there is a financial gain to be had we may aswell get it. There is talk of dave king being contacted before it's to late. Dave king has should all he is hot air he has no intention in investing because if he wanted to he would have there is share been made avaliable so I would be glad he never got involved again because he was involved around the we Murray sold the us down the river to Whyte. I hear people shouting about Ashley and how the Newcastle fans don't like him I think he is what make Newcastle good they can spend £20 million in the transfer market they have no debt because if him and they challenge well and are never in trouble in the premier league. We need something new and Ashley is a great business man who achieves success at every thing he does I am sure if you ask the sports direct staff they will tell you the love him

Am sure people will have a different point of view but this is mine

I think if you ask his staff for their opinion it would depend on who was there, the way they answered.
Here an interesting fact about Mr Ashley's strategy in owning NFC and his current loan to them?
You know that the £129m is not a proper loan, as it is the morgage money owed to improve and re-build the ground. Please clear this up in your next article.
+ £263m was the full purchase price for the club
+ £133m paid in cash to the Halls and Shepherd, ex owners
+ The remaining £130m is the morgage and transfer money owed to the bank.
+ The money owed to the bank was transferred to Sports Direct.

So this money was never a loan and has always been part of the purchase price, which will become part of the selling price, when he finds a buyer. He has never lent money to the club.

So he gives out nothing and brings it HEAPS. remind you of anyone. ? who invited him to take up shares and lucrative contracts at Rangers? Leopards can't change their spots. and we have a LEAP of LEOPARDS AT Ibrox unfortunatly.
Sorry ed if I have got the group name of leopards wrong.?

@ op newcastle owe money to ashley I think that's a stumbling block for people wanting to buy them also as for the sports direct workers that's full time will like ashley for the extra money they i'm sure the ones on zero hour contracts don't feel the same

OP do you mean the 20,000 sports direct staff who are all on zero hours contracts? Yeah i'm sure they all love mike ashley. Sounds like a real people person. I'm sure all the staff at ibrox are delighted at the prospect that he might become their employer.

@5. Sports Direct have the right to purchase Rangers share of Rangers Retail for, as I recall, an amount equal to the previous years profits. I would suggest that with the recent transfer of staff, that option has been exercised. No more money for RIFC/TRFC from Rangers Retail, if that is the case.
