i have read all the posts we are a totally fragmented blinkered support all the ranting and raving about ashley king and the 3 bears say nothing I would put king and ashley on a par to be trusted all the comments of total boycott if ashley wins egm if ashley wns and boycott carrys on there will be no rangers no ibrox and no murray park posts saying ashley does not want to fund the club to make it back to the top if that was the case how will his retail deal ever make money how wll his loans be paid back the only way he can get a return is by making club sucessful we all want the 3 bears to come trumps but if its ashley there will have to be a massive dose of reality if not rangers are doomed the concensus that he wants ibrox murray park turned into money that would not cover his loans u cannot get planning permisson to build on murray park what would the stadium be worth not a lot its not newton mearns that's my thinkng if by chance kng and bears don't win as I say its a massve dose of reality

Ashley does no fund clubs he loans them money for a fee.
In our case 26 percent of all retail deals, 75 percent of future shirt sponsorship, rights to our badge and 600,000 to cover the cost of closing 2 shops.

All this for an extra 2 Million and a possibility of 5 million more on his terms.

He does not care if Rangers are a top team as long as his products sell. Just look at Newcastle the team are mid table and will never be better but as the fans turn up at St james park and also buy his tops he his happy.

MA believes the rangers fans like Newcastle will come back and he can make money with them being mid table team.

Bigwull that must be how he makes so much money from Newcastle united eh, the have been in european cup on numerous occasions, winning it 22 times, no more room in there trophy cabinet for any more trophies, must be brilliant being a fan of such a great trophy winning club ohh for those days to return to rangers fc eh, not having dig at new utd supporters, only at fat mike.

I have asked this this question before only to be told I was a fool and ignorant by the ed , maybe he is right because I still don't get it . The comparison with Newcastle is a non starter as they get 80 to 100 million from tv money without any fan going to see them . Rangers need to be successful, ie , competing at the top of spfl and in cup finals or as has been shown in the past ( 5-8 thousand at games pre Murray ) or no one comes to see them and they sell no merchandise, so ma makes no money.

Bigwull can you explain to me please just what more Ashley can do to convince that he's entirely the wrong wrong wrong man for Rangers? How in gods name can anyone who weighs a merchandise deal for example, 76% in his favour have the clubs best interests at heart?

You are only stating the obvious when you say we are fragmented as a support. That will never change at Rangers or any other club for that matter.

For the more enlightened among is however there is a clear choice to make here. Put your trust in lifelong Rangers men who offer investment, communication with the support, and the promise of a fans input going forward as a club. Or alternatively put your trust in THE most unsavoury uncommunicative character in a long long line of unsavoury characters who promises nothing other than the absolute certainty of continual greed.

Ciicsy as I said on my post and earlier posts prefer the 3 bear option but if that's not to be what then stick two fingers up to ashley we know what that would result in rangers no more that's what will happen he could shut rangers down and claim hiss losses against sports directs profits that's what he will do if he is not given at least some support if he wins e g m god forbid but should he do so I for one would give him a chance even if its only to give the 3 bears a chance to regroup and try again but still think ashley wants to make a go of it because newcastle if not sold by the end of the season as long as they survive in premiership it will be gone before the start of the next

Bigwull Ashley makes far to much money from Newcastle united to give it up, he has been trying for years to sell it?the only person that makes money at rangers right now is Ashley and his muckers on the board, and that is his only interest, money, do you honestly thing he will, sell new utd,?he has took 40 million profit from them, doesn't invest just takes takes takes, so do you honestly think the guy will change his way of life in regard his love of money he is getting every penny spent at our club as it stands, the guys only interested in making money for his greedy self and his shareholding friends, why can't you understand that pfft.
