Apologies if this has been covered before, I had a search and couldn't find it.

As Mike Ashley has not used his two board appointments he is allowed under the terms of his loans. If King and co are successful in removing the current board. Would Mike Ashley not be able to appoint two directors of his choice straight after?
There isn't a lot of public information on his dealings so I'm unaware whether if his loans are quickly repayed he may lose that ability.

{Ed039's Note - The terms of the loan are valid until it is repaid so regardless who is in charge, so long as the money is outstanding then the terms will be valid)

Very likely scenario that Llambias and Leach are voted off the board at the EGM and very quickly re-appointed under the terms of Ashleys loans

Thats why he never used the loan to put another two on which makes me hopeful that he is preparing for defeat in the the battle

If this does happen and llambias & leach do get re appointed after their most likely defeat at our forthcoming egm it will only be shortlived as once king & co go about paying ashley back his loan then llambias & leach would be dumped out yet again in the short term if they are put back on in the short term under ashley's loan agreement they will be outvoted in any decisions that are to be made ie.like the new manager etc as they'll be in the minority so as long as the current board are beaten at the egm it won't mean nothing because they will have no say and won't be there long, what's your take on this ed?

J r repaying ashley may not be high on kings list of priorities he has already said lambias and leach can stay in there jobs meantime after all there will be other ways for monies to be spent
