Who would be a better director of football for the gers Felix magath or mark wotte? Both have great experience.

Felix magath in my opinion mate, he's proved it with building youth superbly at various clubs, hamburg, bayern munich, wolfsburg, stuttgart etc says it all!

Neither, magaths lost the plot just ask any Fulham fan.

Getting ahead of yourselves a bit here boys, directors of football?Let's just hope there is something left to work with when King etc get in there.

The problem is players nowadays get mollycoddled. Somebody like Magath would come in and change the training regime to one where they won't get as much 'down time' as they've been used to. They'd have to put in some effort. At least they would be fitter and leaner and not blowing out their arses like when they lost to part time Alloa. That was a disgrace!

Since you seem to know how has he lost the plot?

Laylex, he's a bit of a hit or a miss, he could do great, or he could be terrible, his run at Fulham was laughable, but I reckon he would do well at rangers.

Tried to cure a torn hamstring with a block of blue cheese. No wonder Fulham got relegated.

So on your brilliant reasoning we should for example have binned Alex Ferguson after 4.5 years of failure at Manchester United? We should judge Moyes as a bad manager based on 7 months at Man U rather than years of brilliance at Everton?

Magath is renowned for bringing youth systems and spotong talent to bring the fore in particular the amazing work he did at Wolfsburg. 3 Bundesliga titles do not lie. He is extremely highly regarded throughout Europe yet one issue at Fulham and in your eyes he is a failure?

Magath for me will be the foundation of a future European style Rangers and either McInnes or Cathro as our manager I hope

Was it not a bit a rotten steak he used for someone with a broken toe?The guy had it taped on his foot and it worked.

Find myself in total agreement with everything I am george said in his reply post regarding felix magath, spot on mate and I would be over the moon if our new manager/head coach were to be derek mcinnes or ian cathro although iag I really do think it's of paramount importance we get another manager in just now until the end of the season to replace mcdowall or we can forget all about getting up this season

Magath was successful 10 years ago get over it. Why would u want Alex Ferguson? he's an old man who's football is oitdated.

As soon as anyone is linked with rangers the fans try to bum him up as if he is the messiah.

Why judge a manager on what he did test

One incident at Fulham there was many!
Couldn't handle the dressing room, players said training was a farce, fell out with the board. And his last spells at shalke and Wolfsburg weren't to great where they? How much did Wolfsburg spend under him? A he'll of a lot.

If the guy comes in and does a good job fair enough but at 61 years old does he have Mich desire and passion left for the game?

As with many older managers in EPL if you are quality it does not matter your age Magath is quality simple.

As for Ferguson I was not if you try reading the post, suggesting him as manager I was pointing out if we use your method of judging a manager then Ferguson would have been sacked long before the 4.5 years he took to build his youth structure and his squad.

Magath - 3 Bundisliga titles one with a team the euivalent of Ross County in Scotland, you do not lose that skill set by one bad appointment at Fulham, the team were not good I watched them pre Magath and post. I am a season ticket holder at QPR so it is our local derby. Mourinho would have struggled to work in the set up at Craven Cottage trust me

Wrong person to ask about Magath lolol

Tennent. What happened with Billy Davies?Last week you said you were dying for him to be our manager, the ED said he has a couple of issues and now you change your mind? You've never done that before right enough.

Ceexxx, I have to agree mate.I think he's too old to be heading up a total overhaul of the youth system. Also rumours of him losing the plot awee bit at Fulham, apparently eccentric we'll say.
