Reading that we're going to the London court on Thursday as Asley is trying to recover his £5 million what's he up to, he is a calculated fever business an with a very astute team of lawyers. I wonder if he's planning anything now he has stepped down from being a director at Newcastle only time will tell. Reports are saying King has had talks with McColl today so much promise and hope last month now its beginning to look like if the price is right you've got the job McColl failed Davis is a failure.

Surprised Dave King never mentioned the court case at his press conference or is this the meeting in London he alluded to, trying probably to imply he would be talking to potential investors.

Another example of why there is still little transparency at Ibrox.

I've got a feeling that the people who have been opening their mouth too much on Twitter, and has been spouting stuff against Ashley and Sports Direct that is maybe confidential information!

Doubt very much that its a ring-fencing action. Can't achieve that for a debt that is not due. If the loan is without formal repayment date then it is not in default or due and the board are entitled to consider any repayment request in the context of other funding and cashflow needs. Suspect the action is a gagging order to prevent the publication of the true retail contract agreement details.

Gord, as well as a settlement date, all loans normally have a clause which allows the lender to recall the full outstanding balance of the loan at any time they choose to before the settlement date and MA's legal team are much too shrewd to miss that one out.

{Ed001's Note - it is very rare for a loan to have such a clause. Otherwise it could cause chaos when enforced. Usually they have a clause asking for a penalty payment in the event of early repayment.}

Naz if you read the detail of the ruling King or any other Board member could not talk about the case. Instead of all the anti Board sentiments as and demands for transparency even when it would land Rangers in Court why aren't we asking why Sports Direct want to keep everything a secret? Posters like you are asking for transparency, which I think the Board can't give because of SD and MASH having everything covered by confidentiality clauses. Why don't we demand transparency from SD in return for us spending our money with them? I think we are all chasing the wrong villain.
