Can I ask the folk you are unhappy with our signings so far, who they had in mind for the positions filled & potential signings from middle to front would be?

Some people want champions league signings aldo, it's as if we won't be able to sign players ever again lol

Great signings so far. I don't know much about Kiernan but he can't be any worse than some of the centre halves we have had over the last couple of years. We still need a right back and maybe a centre mid. I would go with the forwards we have and give some of the youngsters a go.

Cee i'm just a bit puzzled what some folk would deem to be a good signing for us . Maddness!! lol

Don't see the point in spending money for the hell of it.
Happy with the signings so far, the only one that I would like to come is Scott Allan, but we might get him for nothing eventually anyway.
Would like a striker, but no names spring to mind.
Think we have to keep faith with Warburton and Weir and stop criticising them before the season has even started.

Im hopeful that Warburton can turn some of these players into better players. the youth players will get a chance a d you never know Gallagher, hardie etc. Could hit the ground running look at cunmings at hibs he got a chance and repaid then maybe our youngsters can do the same.

Correct Cee, The manager and his tactics can either make or break players, so he must be sure that they will fit into his pattern[s] of playing. Big signings are not the answer, but players that are willing to adapt are essential. The major exception would be a prolific goalscorer, as he should be given some freedom.
Let's hope that our new management team can build a solid, exciting team and make some of our better players into stars.
Most of us wanted youth to be given a chance, so supported by some solid players, tempered with some experience and good coaching, let the season begin.

I don’t think fans are having a go at Warburton and Weir, more at the board for obviously not letting them sign anybody other than bargain basement signings after King claimed he will overspend/spend whatever it takes to get out of the league.

The fact no money is being spent on players.
Is that down to King, or is it Warburton and Weir?
I would have thought that W+W would have been told how much they would be able to spend on players before they accepted the job.

I too would like to see some signings which filled me with excitement but maybe W+W think they can win promotion without spending much.

Although I do agree that King is not doing what he said he would. He gave the impression that we were going to build a team now, which would then be capable of competing for the top next year in the SPL.

Are the board not letting management team sign anyone or spend some cash? How do you know this?
The management are hardly in the door and you can't assess your squad in a few weeks. I'd much rather the entire squad was looked at them new players brought in just to please the fans.
Last thing we need is a player going because he wasn't given a chance and then performing to a high standard elsewhere and also not wanting a player coming in who isn't any better than what we already got.
Cash will be spent but some fans need a reality check ASAP

When you take a player on its not just a transfer fee you are paying there is the signing on fees and wages to consider aswell so we may not be spending a lot of money bringing players in but if you take wages into consideration there is money being spent it just isn't being thrown about like previous regimes have done and landing us back in the brown stuff
