Contacted Puma last week when the news on the replica kits broke. Attached is response received this morning. Think this means we purchase no replica kit or puma products from any sporting outlets.

We are sorry you feel this way. We respect your decision and would like to take the opportunity to let you know that PUMA is releasing replica kits into the market in full compliance with the Sponsorship and Licensing Agreement PUMA has with Rangers Retail Limited (RRL) - (a joint venture between Rangers Football Club (RFC) and Sports Direct plc (SDI) ) .
The kits were actually designed in collaboration with Rangers Football Club over a period of months and final approval was received from the club last year in line with production schedules. The playing kit was delivered to the club, and the players have played all pre-season friendlies in this kit.
PUMA's agreement with RRL remains in full effect. Accordingly, after taking legal advice, PUMA continues to uphold its contract with Rangers Retail Limited and has fulfilled its obligations to manufacture and deliver the kits to the playing and coaching staff, as well as to PUMA's retail customers with the knowledge of all parties, including RFC.

We wish the team the very best of luck in their return to the Scottish Premiership.
It's set to be an exciting season for both you and the club.

I am sure it is a standard reply but they must know that any self respecting Rangers fan will not buy while that sleazeball Ashley is ripping off the club. Just a shame that they and every other company that has the misfortune of dealing with that louse do not terminate their contracts with him! At least Greaves has the self respect to do what is right for Rangers.

Agree TOM42 Greaves who have proven themselves to genuinely care about their city Glasgow . I am optimistic that a solution will be found if we stand united on the issue.

Fd I don't blame puma in any way. Its their job to supply kit to retailers etc. The only ones in the wrong are sd who are trying to sell tops without the image rights to do so.

I have an idea concerning the whole strip thing but don't know if its legal maybe you can have some input tell me if I'm wrong or not but if the fans aren't buying stock from SD rangers have to buy excess stock will it be at full price or build cost eg couple of quid. If its just for a few quid why don't rangers then sell those tops to fan who wish to buy them at full price are they legal to sell or would that be braking the law?
