Walter.

Ronald de Boer, David Wagner, Simon Grayson, just a few to get away from the usual tedious suggestions like Billy Davies etc.

Great result yesterday and goals from the DoDo! .
But my goodness that was hard watching and really hurts me to say verging on boring like most games this season? The Jags must have been gutted and didn't deserve to lose?

Scott87

Can I ask you and other Warburton suppprters what you see in him that you want him to stay? What evidence there is that he is improving the team and why you think he will be able to challenge Celtic?

Yately

Agree the football has been very boring and predictable. Thought Thistle looked more dangerous going forward and were desperately unlucky to lose. The team looks totally devoid of ideas and inspiration.

ronald de boer? Simon grayson? what reason behind them? de boer has no experience and grayson has loads at being carp. David Warner would talked a lot to prize away.

Biffo we really need a ball playing midfielder who can play a killer pass and I know we have been unlucky way Niko!
I know the turn coat Scott Allan's ship has sailed but that sort of player but obviously not him! # Walliper!

Honestly don't think MW would have a problem going for Scott Allan again sometime down the line.

Conor Hourihane was linked before, likely linked again in January.

Unless it's an established player on loan from the premier league who just isn't getting game time, would rather they signed someone like Hourihane.

If it's someone like Charlie Adam on loan then that'd be ideal for the club.

What are the chances of that happening?

If Warburton continues to use this formation and shows no sign of of changing things then he ain't the manager for rangers.
The players are not suited to this formation even tho he has had money to spend and put his authority on the team and bring the players in they are still not performing.
Nowadays in football you need versatility and Warburton and showing this so far and as for him saying we are progressing a lot fans must be watching diffrent games cause we certainly can't see the performances improving like he keeps saying.

These are the four mangers who could do a better job in charge of rangers
1 hein vanhaezebrouck manger of gent
2 gio bronckhorst manager of feynoord
3 Chris coleman Wales manager
4 derrick maccines Aberdeen.

If Scott Allan is the player to give us some oomph in midfield and the manager wants him, then why not?
Always remember super ally went to Sunderland rather than us, when he left St. Johnstone, and he turned out " not too bad. "
He would not be my choice as I am sure there are far better options than him out there, especially the Scandanavians.

Cee, didn't Grayson get teams promoted four times? Do you agree that Wagner would be a consideration? As for de Boer, what experience of management did Wilton, Struth, Greig, Wallace etc have when they took the big chair at Ibrox? Indeed, Warburton had little experience too. I just put these names up to show that there are alternatives if required, outwith the usual dross associated with the job. I am sure there are many more.

your comparing a guy who has no interest in becoming a football manager to guys who did is irrelevant. Simon grayson is an awful manager even worse than the like of allardyce and billy Davies. wagner has done great at Huddersfield but we have a manager who deserves our backing.

13.) 27 Nov 2016
27 Nov 2016 21:44:45
Cee

What has he done to deserve your backing?

14.) 27 Nov 2016
27 Nov 2016 22:50:39
Who has no interest in becoming a manager? De Boer? When did he say that, I can't find it anywhere. Grayson's track record is no worse than Warburton's and you agree Wagner is good. Argument for the sake of it. I think. And what makes you think I don't back Warburton? Reading stuff that's not there, I'm afraid.

craigs8688, I wouldn't include McInnes, he is just another mediocre Scottish Manager. Celtic have proved that a quality manager makes a difference. If Warburton is to leave then he needs to be replaced with someone better and I don't see it happening unless there is significant investment in the Club.
Coleman at Wales is the sort of manager I would like if changes were to be made but that is not going to happen!

Warbs has a 3 years plan to turn our entire structure in to one that makes money. The 1st team objective was and still is to get into europe and we are in the top 3 and most likely will be going in to the new year. We have brought in promising young players for next to nothing and we will eventually start seeing the younger players coming in to the matches in the next year. As usual the general sentiment is that you want to run before you can crawl. We are looking to play an open, expansive game that is not being executed to the level we want as fans, but we have spent 4years playing crap teams, it was ALWAYS going to take a season in the top flight to re-adjust.

17.) 28 Nov 2016
28 Nov 2016 10:56:46
nobody gave a managers name there that would do any better than warbs is and no managers name that would want to come here I mean the usual candidates like davies don't cut it and have not been good managers for years and walter is retired other good managers don't want to come to us. we have no money.
so warbs haters like it or not he is the man in charge and I for one will supports him.

wagner is a good manager warbs record before he came here was very impressive .

biffo get a grip mate what has warbs done to deserve our backing? ar u serious right now.

he came in built a team to win the championship in no time he has changed the way we play football to a better style of football.

forgive me if i'm wrong we have been the better team in most games rthis season even the one we lost to the sheep and pretty much every draw we have had we deserved to be winners but putting the ball in the back of the net is not the job of the manager.

he has built a team that imo will fifnish second with a shoestring bidget and last season most rangers fans would have bit the hand off sum1 who said next year you will finish second.

for me underperforming players are the reason we have not had the success that we desire sir alex ferguson couldn't make us challenge celtic this year as the gap financially and first team players is much too big of a gap for a manager to close.

so yes the man who got us promoted into this league does deserve our backing biffo.
some people are actually gratefull for what he has done for us and know that no-one could do a better job in the current circumstances.
get your head out of your ar*e biffo.

Derek mcinnes
Tommy wright
Frank de boer (too pricey)
Giovanni van bronkhorst (doubt we could afford compensation)
Michael o'neill (same as above)

yately, we've got the no. 10 player on our books who undoubtedly can play the killer pass and i'd play him in the kranjcar playmaker role, barrie mckay!

First of all i'll state yet again i'm 100% behind our manager mark warburton and he should ONLY be judged at the end of the season! In saying that, craigs8688 has came up with a list of 4,in his opinion, as possible next rangers managers to replace warbs. From his 4 derek mcinnes isn't good enough to be the glasgow rangers manager imo.

Gio is doing a tremendous job at feyenoord and would be a good shout and very decent contender. Likewise vanhaezebrouck has been superb with gent and has got the reputation as a terrific coach with youth. But from the 4 managers he mentions, the manager that stands out for me would be wales manager chris coleman. He would honestly be a terrific choice to be the next rangers manager.

But only if warbs doesn't do it and take us to european football after this season. Coleman would hands down be my choice from these 4.He's a very talented manager imo! What's all other bears thoughts regarding these 4 manager's, who would you choose?

James stirling, biffo is a black and white sort of guy mate! He doesn't think or see anything in between. He's one of the most negative posters ever on here, that's saying something because believe me there's been a few! The time to judge and take stock to where we are is at the end of the season. God i'mean sick of saying that!
