The more I think about it the more I like the idea of Miller as a player/ coach. He shows many of the attributes needed.

Gives it 110% every match, is passionate about the club, knows the club/ players, knows the Scottish game.

He would make a great conduit to pass ideas and opinions between the players and the management.

We will just have to wait (again) to see if Pedro can succeed where others have failed us.

The new managers requirements for the role were.

Someone who is familiar with the club, has a history with the club, and ideally you'd think would be considered a legend.

Someone who knows what to expect from the opposition. What to expect when going to opposition grounds etc.

Why not just move Jim Stewart in to that role.

He fits into all the requirements the manager laid out.

Why is Jim Stewart considered that good?

I fully respect Jim Stewart as a Rangers man, coach and most importantly a good man. But he is 63, surely that is pretty much past the shelf life of a gk coach?
The club is now going in a different direction so let's embrace it and see where Pedro can take us

pedro has an assistant, fitness coach and goalkeeping coach that have been with him at the past few clubs he's been at, so Jim Stewart must of been expecting it if he was smart at all

The amount of goals big Wes has lost at near post I think he was right to let Jim go

Barry ferguson is the overwhelming favourite 2 be appointed the new no.3,scottish/ local coach, to work under our new manager, pedro caixinha! Barry has a lot of support within our directors! He's very well thought of, at ibrox, although the final decision lies with caixinha. We'll find out for defo, which candidate has been successful, sometime next week!

Yip Cee, seems to be the very same Stewart had stated he was retiring so y is it a surprise then that our new head coach wants to appoint someone now rather than wait!

Stewart has been a fine coach for us tho, and I wish him well and a peaceful retirement! enjoy
