I must admit personally that I'm a huge fan of waghorn. OK he missed two sitters against the dark side but all strikers miss chances now and again. I just think with a decent run of games up top rather than out wide with someone else decent playing next to him he could do us a real turn next season. He was always going to be linked to Notts forests as will a handful of players because of Warburton. He said himself he wants to stay and personally I hope he does.

For me It depends on the money we get offered for him anything between 1 and 2million I would sell him

I'm not a fan of Waghorn. He just doesn't have enough in his locker to offer Rangers. Poor first touch, poor movement off the ball, poor vision and anticipation, only one footed and that's bang average, plus no pace. If we're going to challenge them then we need to start comparing like for like and unfortunately Waghorn wouldn't make their bench. He's one of the players I expect to join MW. Good luck to him tho

Vote4Pedro, did you not watch him against Hamilton? his wee flicks and touches were great. Waghorn has a lot to offer with the right manager.

I think he's decent, you need to ask if we sell him for a million will we get better for that? I'm not so sure.

@onlyshowaround - yeah I was at the game. Couple of decent touches/ flicks against the poorest opposition in league isn't enough to sway my opinion. The poor outweighs the good. Every time he tries to turn on the ball with his weaker foot it looks like he's trying to move a wardrobe. Also when he gets it in his mind to shoot, that's it, regardless if someone has moved into a better goal scoring position or if three defenders are closing him down. Then it's head down and 6 extra touches to try and tee himself up. You've got to ask yourself, would he get a game for them? Then it's no. But that's only if you want to truly challenge them. Not for me thanks
