Only one positive - Barjonas looks a player. Comfortable on the ball, picks a pass, good positioning. We've been playing without a midfield recently, need to have him starting I think.

I thought Beerman had a great game last night under difficult conditions. Him and Barjonas were two positives to take from the game.

Will be interesting to see what happens with him next season as he did look better and more confident last night. If he isn't going to play regular with us next season then I hope he is put out on loan to another premiership team rather than be sent to a struggling championship side

I guess it depends on how many players we will see come in over the summer. I hope he gets his chance during pre-season as I wouldn't mind seeing him and Rossiter playing together in that 4-2-3-1 formation. I think young Aiden Wilson looked very good considering he was up against Rooney, who is a big old unit with a lot of pace. I think it was in the first 5mins when he chased down a ball in the corner and I was surprised at how quick he was.

Don't think he's quite at "build the team around him" nellylad. But the 3 kids in the back 4 and Barjonas in front of them, they all gave a good account of themselves.
