Good to see Crooks go. Wish him all the best. No point in just hanging about. Good luck son.

Keirnan (Next) and the rest of our last third need a clear out if you ask me - and I'd like to see a keeper as well. If the back line and keeper (excluding Alves) are there next season I'll wear hoops to my work. They're mince.

Foderingham saved our arses a lot last year. Kiernan, hodson, forrester, Windass, O'hal and waghorn are the players that are up for sale still.

Foderingham is a week link. He is nowhere near Rangers material. He has played really well in about 6 games. He does not command his penalty box, stays on his line to often and his clearances mediocre at best. We were spoiled for keepers before the darkness descended but hopefully one of the young prospects at Auchenhowie will make the breakthrough into the first team.

Goram would have stuggled last season with that defence infront of him. I am happy with Fod. If it wasnt for him last season we could have been a lot worse. Could you name 2-3 games he cost us the win?

Fod and Miller were our only 2 decent players last season. Agree Fod saved us on large number of games.

Foderingham is an average keeper and average keepers can have good games. Let's in too many sloppy goals and doesn't command his box. Doubt however we would go for another keeper as there are positions more pressing than his. Feel a bit sorry for Crooks not given any chance while others given too many chances

Fintytint you are doing Goram an injustice, yes he would have been under pressure with that defense but class players always make a difference. Like I said, in six games he was outstanding, could be described as "good at his job" but in the rest of the games he was mediocre.

Agree about fod. Too many weaknesses for me. Decent shot stopper meaning he made his fair share of spectacular saves last season due to the shambles in front of him. Easy to convince the layman that he's a decent keeper. However, any educated observer can spot his frailties. Think alnwick should be given his opportunity to stake a claim. Would be reluctant to invest heavily in the gk position with genuine potential coming through like Kelly and mccrorie.
