Ok so if the board do react and end Pedros tenure, who should be brought in?
McInnes is no for me, if he had won the league or a cup or even beaten Celtic once or twice then maybe.
I also don't believe that bringing back McLeish or Walter is the answer either.
De Boer style of play just wouldn't work with current set of players and it's not suited to Scottish football.
Seriously and realistically who should be brought in and who would want this job? Do we go foreign or British?

I would say it has to be a British manager. If Pedro is away, it needs to be someone that can go in and get the best out of players that they haven't signed. Might be over ambitious, but I can't think of anyone that would be able to do that more than Sam Allardyce.

Pedro needs to go now! If we're honest the warning signs were there last season when he took over from Warburton. The guy's record is abysmal with no sign of improving. Where do we go? We need a manager we've heard of for a start! I've heard people mention bid Sam on here. Do we really want another money grabbing shady character involved with our club? For me, it's a no! It's big Eck for me.

Got to be Michael O'neil, look how he's made northern Ireland so hard to beat

I'd give Ronald Koeman a chance, but would prefer a Rangers minded gaffer. 3 times we have tried a foreign manager and 2 have spectacularly failed.

Michael O'Neill is a great shout mate and would be a fantastic signing. The problem here is we need to get someone in right now to try and stop the rot. As much as I would love to see O'Neill, do you honestly think he would give up the chance of getting N. Ireland to a world cup to come to us? The days we can get guys to choose us over everything else are long gone! And as for Koeman - where do I start!

ChorleyGer, you'd give Keoman a chance?

He was on over 6m a year at Everton. Categorically not happening mate.

Can't believe people are mentioning big eck the guy couldn't manage a team in Egypt. For me I would look at pardew good British manager with murty as his no2.

FAm thinking along the likes of Alan Pardew, Billy Davies and such their is plenty of experienced managers out there. Surly one must be able to get it right and the board must get it right this time

It’s time for Pedro to go he’s had a fair chance board have backed him got players he wanted they don’t seem to be playing for him his tactics aren’t good his methods of management are poor hopefully the board can see what us supports see and bring his tenure to a end today+Murty would be better he has tactical awareness passion knows the club could organise the team better get them fitter+add a few Scottish lads in January+not many good managers available who could take us forward ( big Sam I think would be great but don’t think he would come due to finances) have supported RANGERS since a kid now 52 so have seen some of the best players and teams RANGERS have had and over the past few years some of the worst heres hoping onwards and upwards 🇬🇧🇬🇧

We won't get Allardyce (retired), O'Neil (won't leave NI before WC) or Koeman (pretty sure he fancies himself to be Barcelona manager) . De Boer there's maybe a slight chance after his Palace disaster but like you said Scotty would the style of play work? As for a Rangers minded gaffer, the only decent ones are retired. Pedro's not doing well, but I think we'd be worse off sacking him paying compensation, replacing him with another gamble, buying a new team, waiting for it to gel, failing, and starting again. Need patience.
