Now i know everybody is mega hurtin as am i. But having seen the stat stephen miller from rangers archives page has produced. Points total from this season after 25 games and points total after 25 games the last 3 times we have won the league were actually a point better off. I really do think gerrards inexperience is costing us though. Celtic are looking strong and striding out infront at the minute and honestly look out of site.

Celtic went through a rough patch, we beat them and Lennon changed his tactics now they are smashing the rest of the sides. I’m not saying we need to change style or shape but we need to be open to it in certain games if we played two strikers etc it gives them more to think about and more chance of us feeding of second balls up top, Alfredo has came back off suspension well off form which is hurting us. He seems more intent on falling over than shooting, low confidence and obviously a lot of attention has been on him lately can’t be helping matters. God knows what happened in Dubai though, players came back injured or got injured as soon as they played afterwards.

Celtic will very likely go through another bad patch if a key player like Edouard is injured but in all honesty I think they have more strength in depth than us right now and this is our main problem.

If Stevie G was Celtic manager and Neil Lennon (without the baggage) was ours, I think SG would be big favourite to lift the title.

He certainly has his faults but it's amazing some of the stick SG is getting on here.

Problem with being better off now than when we won the league is that Celtic are 10x stronger domestically than they were 3IAR. Numbers speak for themselves - they have 10 more points than we did for any of those 3IAR league wins. Standards have hiked big time. We now need to be way better than that to overcome them.

Various fans on here have mentioned moving Tav forward, and getting e. g. Polster at RB, and they have been shot down with comments like, 'TAV is a RB ebd of', sorry, but he's a rotten RB compared to people who played in that position over the 60 years I've followed Rangers. We need to change the formation now, and go with two up to give Alfie some support, this current set up is now making him look like a two bob player, and a frustrated one at that. If SG won't admit that the system needs changing then that could finish his career as a Manager, even thus early, I want him to succeed, but he needs to open his eyes and be ruthless in achieving his goals.
