Still a few quality free transfers around . Dan Axel Zagadou for one . not a panic merchant and with new players coming in (who haven't all hit the ground running) it will take time for some to settle . With the players we sold and their quality and physical presence they are a hard act to follow . That said one result does not end a season . its how the players look at their individual performance and attitude and then respond .
I trust Gio to turn this around one way or another .
Perhaps the free agent market could help, even in the short term. to bolster the defence.

Geddes : I wish I had your confidence since Gio came in he’s blown a six point lead last season and never recovered this season we are five points and with the huge goal difference it’s six and we’re only six games in, his style of play is so slow and methodical it’s like watching paint dry but we get away with it against most teams but yesterday we were up against a team who played at pace three or four passes and we’re under pressure us ten passes and we haven’t got over the half way line we lack pace, in Europe that’s been ok as most teams play possession football slow build up, our recruitment has been poor look at yesterday Colak and Tillman on the park at the beginning at the end no new signings, same last transfer window poor signings, infact Bassey and Aribo has been our best and both gone, I’ve no idea where we go from here we simply must win at pittodrie, the champions league is a bonus as long as we put up a fight I’ll accept whatever happens there.

twacoos can also see your point and I just think its too early to concede anything. Europe is a bonus but that's where the money is, we have to do better domestically but I know we all agree on that.

Twacoos, Pittodrie won't be easy, especially if we get another thrashing on Wednesday! That team yesterday was a shambles. We were outfought out played and we could have lost by worse than 4 - 0.
Our midfield and defence have no confidence in the keeper and he has no confidence in himself. He was like a rabbit caught in the headlights for 90 minutes!
