Porteous lighting up the championship just as I thought he would. Missed out there I feel . we are still an Injury away from a Half back nightmare.23 years old and full of a winning mentality that we still lack at the back . Just my opinion fellow bears and would appreciate your input. oh and please don't say we still have Phil and Souttar . not for me .

A fit Souttar is far superior to Porteous in every element of his game. This was clear as day last season.

Thanks for the replies lads. have a feeling though that this lad has a bright future If the ned element is taken out of the equasion. the championship will be the making of him . But as always. time will tell. souttar is a non starter for me sorry to say as he is and always will be a tap on the shin away from 6 months out.

i came home for surgery this morning, last thing i watched was porteous last night

totally lost at burnley goal, isolated like a boy out of his depth,

he may improve, he needs to, he was alone marking nobody at goal,

Saw that Tom. The ball hit him on the way through. Maybe a bit unfair to expect him to react, but his positioning left a lot to be desired. A good CB would have been covering that post. Made some howlers at Hibs too. Hope your surgery goes well, Tom. All the best ?.

Burnley have been some side this season though and Kompany has done great along with and hate to say it lol Craig Bellamy

they have really got the team firing and i have enjoyed watching them this season.
