Are folk really happy with Sakala because he runs about and shows energy? God sake our standards are low. He cost us 2/ 3 of the previous games against them before today and was absolutely abysmal other than the goal today. He’s one of the worst players we’ve had since we got back to the SPL and he’ll only cost us more games going forward. Saw someone said he could turn into Saka with training I really hope that’s a joke maybe he’ll be able to score open goals and control a football one day but I hope he’s not in a rangers jersey to find out. He’s also 26 he’s not going to change as a footballer.

He’s been better than Morelos and Kent this season and he might not be of the standard required but he wasn’t an empty jersey today. Matondo is in the same boat. 2 boys who were prepared to
Run and put themselves about with a bit pace caused them all sort of problems. Can you not just enjoy the win instead of slagging one of the players?

We need to get rid of Sakala, just not good enough regardless of the goal today which if I am honest I fully expected him to miss.
A lot of good performances today. Thought today we finally saw what Raskin is about, encouraging for next season. Cantwell also looked strong.
Thought Mccrorie was brilliant, one top class save in that second half. I was excited about prospect of Butland coming in and now thinking we don’t need him.
Above the rest though I have to say Yilmaz stood out. The boy defended brilliantly, must have had a fair number of tackles today and looked good going forward. Very encouraging again for next season.
Signs that some of these might be settling in.

Bang on Cooper with all of that but I think if Butland is available we still go for him. It’s McCrorie’s jersey to lose rn but we still need another quality gk.

Baz I’ve praised everyone else except him and Matondo. Both were non existent especially in the first half after the goal. Morelos and Kent are hardly the benchmark this season. Compare him to kent and Morelos the year we won 55 (aka the standard we need to reach) and Fash is miles away from that. He isn’t good enough nor will he ever be. The type of player to get managers sacked if they rely on him in the big games.

In Sakala. He gives his all, has pace, misses a lot but scores good goals, doesn't use his brain that much, and 1st touch questionable. Remind anyone of an ex ranger?

Very harsh dav-b but I get you but you need honest pros too I'd much rather have sakala than matondo wright Morelos or Kent at this point in time even if it's as a fourth choice forward/ winger.

Sakala was hardly non existent was on the ball as much as anyone! One thing you can never say about sakala he never hides.

Sakala is a decent RW but we need a RW who can make better decisions when in a shooting position, that's Sakalas main downfall he hesitates or panics when in the box too often instead of chipping or shooting on an angle, gets caught offside too often as well, but did his bit in the win yesterday.

Great result even though they did not look at top pace and hopefully that breeds some confidence - yes Sakala and Matondo did some power of running which did keep them on back foot but a lot of times they wasted chances and looked lost when given a choice - am sure Beale sees room for improvement up front and we need a top quality striker as matter of urgency. Kent and Buff have held us back for so long now - we seemed frightened to change - just shows that if you have the spine to get them into touch then pace and quick back to front passes gets them turning which we never did in previous 5 games- our hunger and closing down was very important to not give them time on the ball and if the effort and desire is as strong against them next season with hopefully some new additions then we could make a fist of it.

Sakala is definitely a good option to have in the squad, however if a decent offer comes in for him I would let him go if we think we can bring in better, his numbers are good.
