That last night was very painful to watch and let's remember this PSV team ain't even CL quality themselves and yet we got hammered as much as MB would state they were ruthless. Least last year we had the excuse of having no CHs.

Think a lot on here will remember most of us saying MB was a lazy appointment but we would get behind him regardless, he talks a fantastic game but he's a coach and that's it. I know he's been all over the globe and learned from loads of people and cultures but he has actually no idea how he wants to play.

We strengthened in attack apparently but this is the most gun shy I've seen us in ages and not to mention a £6m striker sitting on the bench, shouldn't that be the kind of striker we should be having in the big games. How this defence hasn't been addressed yet is beyond me as we cannot defend to save our lives when we are put under any pressure!

MB has shown himself to be almost criminal with his big game decisions and in game decisions. He talks a great game but he's out of his depth and needs to go. We need to get rid now before it's too late to act and go get Knutsen. Now probably will get loads of grief for this post but it's my opinion and think it's clear we are on the downward trajectory again.

I have to disagree Jim, in my opinion PSV are a champions league team and are considerable better than we are man for man.

Im gutted not by the score but by the lack of fight from our players, although i'm not willing to say anything derogative about our players I will say one thing, De Jong would not have raged dolled rangers centre half’s of past the way he raged dolled Goldson last night. Brown, Gough, Moore and Amoruso would have put their marker on him and the game from the word go.

If you can’t beat their quality (which we can’t) then you better make the opponents know they’re in a game of it. We just let them play and expected that we could beat them at their own game, very naive in my opinion.

I agree the defence is an utter shambles and has been for 2 seasons now. We ain’t getting a good run in europa unless that’s sorted asap.

Everyone is hurting after that well us fans are anyway. let's see how the team and manager react. Imo the best thing that can happen after a result like that is have a massive game straight after old firm on Sunday is perfect there's no time to dwell on it get it out your head and back at it in preparation for Sunday. This will really show what these guys are made of I fully expect us to come out flying on Sunday.
I've said it countless times we are losing our identity but I keep hearing football is changing and we need a modern approach I'm all for backing Beale and I'll always support the team but I still think he should have brought in a rangers man as a coach someone who is going to demand more.
These guys we've brought in still need time but Beale must steady the ship in terms of tactics and team selection we seem to be poking around in the dark hoping something clicks. Settle the side and say this is how we are playing you guys have the shirts your job now to keep them.

Dado, a Rangers Team of the past under Souness and Smith would not have been outfought and outplayed the way we were last night. We lack leadership, we appear to have bought players without any thought to how we would set up, where they would play or whether they could cope with the rigours of Scottish Football and playing for rangers. Right now we are a shambles. Our defence and midfield need strengthening which has been the case for a number of years and the less said about the £10 m spent on two strikers that can't score goals the better.
There is no excuse for players taking time to settle, other players at other clubs seem to fit in to the team quickly!

If Beale does not win on Sunday the knives will be out for him whether we like it or not!

@Dado Got to disagree, that PSV are nowhere near CL quality. This is the first time in 5 years they have even qualified for it. They will get punished just like us last year, granted they have some very good players.

But then again I think we have some good players but they just don't know how to play as they don't know what's being asked of them or how they're expected to play. We need a manager with a set style of play and what he wants from his players and we would see the best out of this team but I think it's clear that MB doesn't have a clue what formation or style of play he wants but yet has been allowed to overhaul this team but still not sorted this defence out.
