Absolutely outstanding!

The first half Betis looked the better side. They looked like a very cool and composed Spanish side form a top league.

I don't know what Beale done at halftime but we Rangers dominated that second half and Betis never looked like getting back in it. Maybe the people who keep telling me Beale is "tactically clueless" can tell me because the difference was night and day.

That 3 points means we have one foot in the knockout rounds. Teams with 9 points qualify 63% of the time. Teams that finish with 10 points qualify 85% of the time. We still have 5 games to go and might only need two wins to secure European football beyond Christmas.

Meanwhile, domestically, we have the first piece of major domestic silverware to win.

We are about to enter a prolonged period of fixtures most of which are at Ibrox, and against teams we are expected to win. Hopefully tonight was the catalyst wee needed, and the winning run has now started.

On an individual level I thought we learned a lot about some of those players tonight. Matondo, for me, doesn't have the ability on the ball to make it with us.

Very impressed with big Lammers when he came on. Big, strong, technically good, works extremely hard off the ball. What an impact the big man had for that 30mins.

Very happy with Rangers tonight ??.

Good post verdant but for me Matondo was ripping their defence apart. If he was the complete package he would be at a higher level.

Think you're being a bit unfair on Matondo there @verdant. His first touch let's him down and lacks a wee bit of composure at times but there's a player there that just needs coached properly. He got on the ball a few times tonight and Betis players couldn't get near him.
The boy deserves a wee bit of credit imo.

Finally a formation and lineup I wanted to see tonight! For me proved that’s the way we should be trying to play for the personnel we have. Everyone where they should be, plenty of chances created and carried a serious attacking threat. Tav and Borna high and wide pushing the team up. Wasn’t rocket science. Still some slack passes but hopefully will improve. Credit where it’s due to Beale but let's see some consistency with it now and let this team settle.

Well after unbeaten run they've now been gubbed by famous. Was worried first 25 mins use of Tav and Barasic we had them on ropes. Great result.

If he matures and starts to make better decisions then he’ll make us a fortune.
For me it’s not his first touch let’s him down it’s actually his 2nd. Doesn’t put it where it needs to be or adjust his body for that bending shot round keeper. Same all time but he can learn to do that better. We could do with a striker coach.

Matondo is quick and his primary strength is running with the ball at his feet and getting us up the pitch.

Heks not very good at crossing, shooting, passing, he lacks composure, and his decision making is bad doing at times. Wild shots from distance, or a needless two hand shove on the back of an opposition player to take the pressure off them.

Matondo’s game lacks too much IMO. We have better options than him.

Need to guve platers time, compare Matondo to the player last year, he's coming on fast, will frustrate at ti. es but he's a gem in the making.
