Decent footballing side that so good result for us. Delighted to finally see a 4231 with everyone playing where they should. Suits us so much better IMO allows us to play our strongest 11 in their best and most effective positions. 433 leaves us too deep and open middle to front and doesn’t suit Lawrence/ Cantwell who thrive in attacking midfield. Tav and Borna were a constant option for midfield tonight getting high and wide on the break which pushes the whole team higher the way it should be and if we fancy the odd quicker long punt we can use Matondo or Sima’s pace. Kemar Roofe needs to stay fit the guy is superb. Happy for Davies putting in a good shift. Need to see some consistency now from Beale and let this team settle into a rhythm. That team we started with is fairly close for me to our strongest lineup with exception of Cantwell to come in and Danilo obviously giving Beale another option.

Cantwell, Raskin, Dan’s Danilo can all push for places in that team.

Lammers looked great when he came on. If he keeps playing like that he needs to be starting games. For the first time in years Rangers have options up top. It was great to see them all pulling together tonight to get the result. Weaker not playing our best football yet, but we’re slowly getting better, the fight is there, and most importantly we’re winning.

As long as we keep winning Beale is going nowhere. The longer Beale is here the better this team will become.

Can’t argue with any of that mate.
I think that’s a fantastic result tonight.
Not near a great performance overall by players, slack passes poor first touches and sim en poor finishing.
But what a result, under pressure, they really stood up tonight and that could be the making of this team now. They’ve tasted what it’s like to win under pressure at ibrox.
They’ll want more. They’ve had the bad side of the fans and now they have the great side, and rightly deserved.

Butland is an outstanding keeper. Best signing in Scotland this summer.
Davies could be better than Goldson if he keeps playing like this, and that’s exactly what we needed. A 1st pick defender, let Conor and John battle it out to partner him. For me Goldson gets the nod.
Bb had some fantastic crosses and tav although a few loose passes had a solid game.
Cifuentes still has a lot to do, for me he wasn’t good enough, but still early.
Lunny was ok. Few loose balls and bad touches but he was better in 2nd half and gets pass marks.
Lawrence was fantastic. Looks a great player.
Roofe could be best striker in Scotland if fit.
Matondo and sima are similar. Sima more technical and Matondo more pace but both done well.
Lammers was good when came in and so was Ryan Jack.
Mb got ya tics spot on and asking as he keeps winning he’s proving doubters wrong and in we go ???.

I didn't think they were any good to be honest. Couple of good players that's it. Someone said they thought Lundstrum had a good game? No chance! Gave the ball away too much. Thank God we didn't buy Sima. He's very poor.
Mantondo did well and I thought Roofe lead the line well.

It's clear they seem Tav as our weak link at the back. Davis played his best game in a Rangers shirt. Butland was outstanding. So assured.
Borna can cross a ball but can't do much else. It's a great win for sure and takes the pressure off MB for the time being.

People on here including myself have got on at Beale for putting square pegs in Round holes, he rectified that tonight we looked balanced after the opening 20 mins and dominated a very decent side! When Cifu has to cover the right side he looks uncomfortable in the middle he looks superb! And that Version of Lundstrum is a player I can get behind ??.

Started with two of his 11 signings ? great result but still don't see that as a positive for Beale.

At a push can maybe say he tried a new formation at start season it hasn't worked and he's went back 5o our tried and tested.

Ffs here we go again with mad statements he is the best striker at rangers when fit coops I thought you would have learned with kent as he was the best winger in Scotland on his game and he really wasn’t.

Hes been forced to play that system, the fight was there tonight, the passion, that's what i'm looking for . Good result and this group is going to be wide open , great start though.
