Another point I think is worth discussing, now the league is over should we start giving more game time to King, Yfeko, Devine, Rice and Lovelace? The next manager needs to know if these guys will make the grade (perhaps they won’t) .

I enjoy the debate regarding Ryan P, Doig, Ferguson or Hickey and stand by my comments that at the time of the sale these players would not have made or starting 11, now after a number of years in a better league all 4 would be superstars within our squad.

Perhaps given our young players the same game time we might have 3 or 4 players in the same boat 12 months from now?

Who said the league was over? To play the youngsters mentioned in a team not doing well is one way of getting rid of Beale whom I am sure you are 200% of doing.

No point playing youngsters not under Beale the man is done. We've a strong squad a good man manager brought it now and we should see a massive uplift in performance. The league is bye imo but should still be looking to push them to the wire were still in 3 cups. But we must act now. He might get left to after Sunday only as we will have travel arrangements etc made for Limassol but imo I'd act NOW let someone take the next two games while we make an appointment then we've a wee break to steady the ship.

Beale is already gone Bluetoon, regardless if he realises or not his position is untenable and unless the board are wanting the fans to turn on them they will take action.

Comparing our form v Celtics the variance is forecasting to be c.18 / 20 points, this is why the leagues over.

My point wasn’t in relation to the league being over but the opportunity for us to give gave time to some of our younger players so the new manager can assess who (if any) are good enough to make the grade.

Yeah Trueblue I believe you when you say we made an enquiry and given the value we paid for Ridvan then I think he would have been money well spent. Again, if he’d signed for us he probably wouldn’t have played at the rate he’s currently playing at and therefore might not be as good as he is. Again, this point was the drive behind the question, with the league being over, should we accept this is a development season and let the young players get 20/ 30 games under their belt?

The league isn’t done Celtic are rotten and will drop points. We need rid of Beale and bring in an experienced manager asap and who knows what’ll happen.

Ferguson would have made the team. Doig would have probably made the team and people don’t like him but RP a would have also.

Even if Celtic do drop points, we've proven that we're utter dross and wouldn't be able to take advantage of any slip up by celtic. Like it or not, we are now a club who will win the occasional title every 3-4 years and other than that will be 2nd.

Doig refused our approach.

We'll be lucky if we finish 2nd this season. can't even see us getting that tin league cup. Why not play the youth players? it's not like they can do much worse.
