From almost being sold to a club in turkey,
do we now think that scott wright has a career at rangers, under philippe clement ?
Our new manager clearly likes wright ?.

While I agree he’s playing well we have to acknowledge we don’t really have any other options at right wing. I’m glad he’s being something to the team this season but I still really hope we sign a quality right winger in January.

Sir Walter Smith OBE absolutely yes, Scott Wright does have a career at Rangers. I said before that I believe that Scott Wright has not been managed properly in his time at Rangers. I think now that we have Big Phil we will see different player. I think if you look at his impact at Dundee at his performance yesterday that completely changed the game for us, he's very much in Big Phil's plans.

Recall John saying he would not play 100 games for Rangers. Well think he’s just about there and will play more than 200 games for us. Very useful player to have especially to make impact from the bench. Looks to be confident and loving his football, wonderful to see.

I agree with both DK and storm on their above posts ?Spot on when DK states we're far too quick saying certain players are s***e/ not good enough, not talented or whatever and some get this thrown at them much more than others?I also agree storm, that of course at our club, we should always be looking to improve,
but scott wright for me has definitely a part to play in this and of course won't always be a certain starter but he'll contribute and what's the most important, big phil also thinks this ? Wright isn't dug meat as some have put it he's absolutely got something and has a talent ?If big phil gets wright's confidence sky high and gets into his head that he is good enough to be very much part of our rangers squad then we'll have a good player on our hands ?.

Played well when he came on in Prague Miller, so I guess that disproves that notion. In any case, why would you write him off after one game in Eurooe? Makes no sense. Fully expect the I told you so brigade to come on when wee Scott misses a chance ?.

Not good enough for Gers? yet he is one of maybe 3 players in the team that pushes forward and makes things happen for us.
You could see he had no confidence under Beale, but no one did lol.

Players I refer to who won’t start ex games for first team r academy players

Those who say we need better than wright r correct, we need better than majority of team, two trophies in over 11 years clearly indicates that.

I’m one who slated him along with many of yous but in no way am I stumbling or whatever some of you are saying about the ones who don’t rate him.

Bit of a poor argument basing his performances off of just goals.
He changes the whole tempo of the game as he has the baws to run at players. Not many in team are able or willing to do that.
Similar has happened with matondo when everyone said he was terrible blah blah blah and then he has 2 good games as a sub and some are saying he is the answer LOL

Of course we need better but Christ, even the big clubs sell and buy new players.
We need better in every position barring GK.

The boy deserves a bit more respect is all.

Correct Ally, the boy is no Davie Cooper, that's clear, but he does have something to change a game. As you said, like Matondo, who everybody wrote off as dug meat, garbage etc, Wright brings something different to the table. The manager clearly rates him as he also sees what he can do in training and I'll trust his judgement more than anybody on here. Imo the lad is definitely a confidence player who needs to know people trust and encourage him to do the business. In the end, who knows how it will turn out for him but are we not better getting behind him and the rest of the guys like Lammers and Dessers, instead of constantly berating them? What possible good does that do? I suppose I will go down as a happy clapper now but at the moment I couldn't give a flying f*** I'm just glad to see the way the guys are playing and obviously buying in to what the manager is trying to do. Great to see the fight in the team just now.

I`ve never called any Rangers player dog rubbish or anything like that but I have never rated Wright as a player and 45 minutes on Sunday doesn`t change my mind . If he can play like that regularly then I will change my mind and admit I was wrong as I would do with Dessers if he ever wakens up . Nobody wants these guys to fail because if they play well our team wins and that's what we all want but like Matondo turning up occasionally is not good enough for our club . Blaming managers is a cop out, Wright`s now played for three and none of them could get a tune out of him even though he has been tried in various positions. Also I`ve never slagged off Tav or any of the others who have actually contributed to the team and the club.

Miller, apart from missing a chance, he set up Lammers whose net bound effort was well saved by the goalie. Funny how Wright only played about 20 mins in the second half, but it coincided with our best spell of the game?
