The club should get Defoe, McCoist or Boyd in for a couple of training sessions with the strikers to show them how to finish in the box. They seem clueless at times when the goals in their sights.

Defoe was a coach when we threw away the league, so it didn't really work then.

Here's a novel idea. Why don't we buy strikers who are actually good at their job.

Defoe worked with Alfie for about three months. Possibly Alfie thought he knew better right enough. I’ll never forget a hat trick Alfie scored at Ibrox . After the final whistle he stood in the centre circle doing keepie ups . After about twenty he stopped then raised his arms for an expected cheer.

Unfortunately 95% of the ground had left so he got zilch ?.
