I'm wondering if that maybe means that 1 or more of our CMs could be sold. Just now we are strongly linked with Ferguson and also Joey Veerman from Holland. I can see us sell Hagi if the reported rumours are correct. Hagi is a good young player but he i9s still very much Work In Progress. A £10m fee + a sell on clause would be a good piece of Business and would potentially free up the funds to sign Veerman and Ferguson.

Kent cost us 7.5 million and no offence had failed to impress while out on loan. Veerman has been outstanding in Dutch league and figures quoted in media are 8.5 million. If anyone bids the asking price then i'm sure he will go but if not then he's on a long term contract and will just need to get his head down and get on with it, which won't be a bad thing for us! To say he scored 2 tap ins is short sighted at best. His 1st goal he showed good movement in the box to lose his marker and took the header well. Even the 2nd goal, whilst it was a tap in to finish, he starts the move 40 yards from goal and makes a great run into the box to get onto a ‘tap in’ position. That in my book is good striker play. His overs play was good and whilst he doesn’t look 100% sharp yet, that will come with games.
