Don't shoot the Mess -- oh screw it go ahead and shoot me. I bumped into 2 Ranger crazy pals I hadn't seen since before C.V. and, wait for it, they both assured me that a big money investment was being readied for us. They would not tell me the source, now if Rangers had a pound for every time I have heard this they would not need it.
On Tav he has been with us just over 5 years with close to 100 assists and 40+ goals. For a right back those figures are astonishing. I'm not going to argue with where you would rate Scot. Prem. v Championship? Division 1? Those numbers, are astonishing, in either, he'd command £30m plus. As much as I rate Tav. I think he'd struggle down south. Hope he retires here.

1.) 08 Dec 2020 22:40:48
60+ goals all comp mate.

2.) 08 Dec 2020 22:41:06
Think there was investment intended before C. V. erupted, maybe same thing, and probably same guys, it’ll be a far more attractive model now.

3.) 08 Dec 2020 23:17:48
Big Investment stories. can anyone quantify what would be a BIG investment? Are we talking £20m or are we talking £120m from an Arab sheik? Honestly not worth listening to in my opinion!

4.) 08 Dec 2020 23:50:18
I have heard the same. Big money investment on the cards.
With regards to tav he will not be sold.
A few minor players will go. I. E Jones, Stewart.
Something good is happening here. And it's only going to get better.

5.) 08 Dec 2020 23:51:53
It'll be closer to the 20 mil mark.

6.) 09 Dec 2020 09:35:52
The "big investment" chat has been circulating for years now, but nothing has really materialized (not to the scale of some of the numbers that were thrown about)
Big investments have been made from a number of our wealthier board members, but these rumours would indicate an investment on a much larger scale to what we have received?
If any investment is made, what sort would it be? Is it a loan? Is it a gift for a seat on the board? Is it to buy out existing shares? Is it a buyout of the club? If it's a loan, can we keep diluting our shares?
This "big investment" talk always seems to resurface at this time of the year, and during the summer, but so far, nothing has happened. Although, in saying that, Rangers are a much more attractive option for investment than they've been in a long time! Win the league, champions league football, and we suddenly become more appealing!

7.) 09 Dec 2020 13:17:33
Ah! The usual run up to new Year 'big investment' or is this a continuation of the end of season 'big investment' or maybe even a continuation of the run up to season ticket renewal 'big investment'
I've lost count.

8.) 09 Dec 2020 17:25:46
Seems only yesterday our own Alex Rae was hinting at big investment in the new year. a year ago 😂 time sure flies when you're stuck on furlough.

9.) 09 Dec 2020 21:36:50
Maybe, like Santa, the 'big investment' is just an annual fairy tale designed to titillate the gullible?

05 Jan 2019 16:45:39
Just my opinion I think the SPFL and English championship are pretty comparable. I believe we will lose Morelos this summer perhaps Tav this year too. I digress, I would seriously like us to consider McBurnie as, if it happens, a replacement for Morelos.

They are both 22 Morelos is physically more mature and a better overall player, Mcburnie is still growing into his frame and will improve more. Morelos is always going to leave, McBurnie would need a much greater incentive to leave. Right now Morelos Is 6 or 7 goals a year better I think that difference will close.

I've never been one to advocate players just because they bleed red, white and more importantly, blue but in this case I believe it would be a great move by us. Now come on guys mash the disagree.

Bluepete

1.) 05 Jan 2019 17:46:26
Mcburnie just signed a new deal in the summer so I can't see it happening.

2.) 05 Jan 2019 18:21:22
McBurnie on a par with Cummings, not good enough.

3.) 05 Jan 2019 18:38:05
McBurnie doesn’t score enough goals for me, likeable grafting Rangers supporting Scotsman but nowhere near Morelos this season but still young and will improve but at the moment not for me mate.

4.) 05 Jan 2019 18:52:28
English Championship is a better standard by a distance. You have absolutely NO clue who will win that from year to year.

5.) 05 Jan 2019 19:18:03
Mcburnie is slower than a week in the jail

How many goals in the Championship? Hardly prolific and if Ryan Hardue is not a better bet, questions need asked about the youth set up.

6.) 05 Jan 2019 19:31:10
A better standard and more competitive are 2 different things. Take the old firm out of the league, and we have 1 super competitive league. Just like every top league though, only a few can win the league, but go down 1 and it's much more open.

7.) 06 Jan 2019 00:28:25
LDM17, a more 'competitive' league doesn't make it a better league. Many leagues at all levels have a different winner most seasons, but the vast majority of them are duff leagues. Means nothing.

27 Sep 2018 20:16:34
I have been thinking, dangerous I know, that SG wants to sell Morelos in January. Use those funds to hopefully sign a replacement or 2 and maybe even convert 1 of our loanees to our player.

Bluepete

1.) 27 Sep 2018 22:18:32
Always said it. I will would get rid of him. he's a liability!

2.) 27 Sep 2018 22:59:11
Care to recommend a replacement that's within our budget?

3.) 27 Sep 2018 23:06:05
Bluepete hope your right.

4.) 27 Sep 2018 23:40:19
You's both are aff your rockers lol mental.

5.) 28 Sep 2018 01:03:39
SG is not going to sell Morelos and has said on several occasions that he wants to build the team around him! Boy has been OUTSTANDING this season so far, people need to get off his back and get behind him.

6.) 28 Sep 2018 01:51:33
Everytime he gets the ball, hd over runs it or fluffs his shot. Lafferty has got on the end of things far better and gets in far better positions. Did i mention that Morelos is constantly offside?! @.

7.) 28 Sep 2018 08:02:44
As1974 Are you Chris Sutton in disguise? A disgrace would be throwing a huff and refusing to play to get a move away from the club AKA dembelend and Boyspatta. As I'm sure he could get a move if he really wanted it.

Boy has a petulant side but it shouldn't take away from the fact he gives his all for the club. Rather that than someone not giving a rubbish.

8.) 28 Sep 2018 08:29:25
SG phone u to say he wants to sell Morelos. Absolute crap written on here re the lad.
Not his fault we never signed a fourth striker. We knew Lafferty cup tied. Probably had sussed Sadiq can’t cut it.
Support the lad as that’s his game playing on edge.
How many of u actually saw the tacke, it was a disgrace.

9.) 28 Sep 2018 08:30:55
Liability not disgrace sorry.

10.) 28 Sep 2018 08:43:54
Get a grip. The boy has been superb this season. try supporting the team instead of getting on their backs. You would have bitten the hand off of anyone to at the start of the season to be in the position we are in now. Still to much negativity.

11.) 28 Sep 2018 09:42:41
Morelos only cost us £1M! He has been superb value for money and if a decent offer comes in for him and it’s a step up for him then I’m sure Stevie G will let him go. Hopefully we have targets in mind for when that day comes but until then he should be looking to improve on his shortcomings which I’m sure he will, he’s only 22 remember!

12.) 28 Sep 2018 10:01:47
Wants to build a team round about Morelos, if he wanted to sell him would have done it at start of the season. And he’s far from a disgrace of a player the lad gives everything but definitely a liability most times.

13.) 28 Sep 2018 10:16:25
Er where did I diss Morelos? I rate the lad highly and think he's been great so far this season. His petulant attitude needs to change and he still needs to improve but he works his socks off and has flashes of brilliance. SG phones me all the time and I'm happy to give him advice but lads only 9 disagrees? I'm hurt.

14.) 28 Sep 2018 10:37:57
Haha I’ll click disagree for you mate!

15.) 28 Sep 2018 11:07:17
So why would we get rid of Morelos unless we are getting 15m and upwards He's just signed a new contract on improved wages!

Morelos has been superb this year albeit he has an issue where he is a little petulant

Don't you remember the last player who had similarities and what he had become?

Rino Gattuso become world class and played with at the time one of the top 3 sides in the world AC Milan

Now we will not let this gem. of a player go unless the money is right

So all you Morelos haters Please pick your head out your arse!

16.) 28 Sep 2018 13:34:30
Kasmania82 see your talking usual crap morelos hasn't been superb just ok at best sell now before value drops even further was 11 million at one point last year lucky if we get 5 for him now.

17.) 28 Sep 2018 14:50:41
If Morelos gets the broken biscuits out his head he will go on to become a class international striker! It would be daft to let him go when all he needs is guidance.

18.) 28 Sep 2018 15:36:51
He cost us 2 points in the first game of the season. Yes it got recinded but still 2 points dropped. He almost lost us a Europa group stage after getting sent off again (4-7m) in prize monet. He then gets a needless booking the other night so is out of the next cup game. Get off his back? Get him sold. He's not as good as folk on here make out. Aye he does a lot of good running but he's a goalscorer. Sell him.

19.) 28 Sep 2018 16:35:10
Disgraceful comments, get behind the lad, he's our top scorer and we can't afford to replace him.

20.) 28 Sep 2018 18:05:43
Morelos is scoring for fun and is great value for money at 1mil. I do agree that his petulance has cost us and will cost us again. He needs to curb it pronto. I would also play lafferty before morelos, I think lafferty offers much more and scores goals that morelos wouldn't. Where are all the lafferty doubters anyway🤔 you's have been quiet👍. @kaz, what is it with you and 15mil😂👍.

21.) 28 Sep 2018 18:57:53
Hands up I'm a Lafferty doubter still.

22.) 28 Sep 2018 19:48:44
Going by your original post bluepete am no surprised🙃👍.

23.) 28 Sep 2018 19:58:00
@6counties, still no enjoying life mate? Well this might cheer you up, the dhims are raging that we play first in the semi's, they reckon that hearts will have an advantage because the park will be cut up. They are also hearing whispers that hearts are showing up early with miracle grow hoping to grow the grass a bit after our game. Apparently its all a fix. 🙃👍.

24.) 28 Sep 2018 20:27:32
Feel like this is a 100% troll thread.

25.) 28 Sep 2018 21:14:54
I see the usual morelos bashers persons are out in force tonight the boy has probbaly been 1 of our best players this season and even in a poor rangers side last year was way above any other players in last seasons team.

26.) 28 Sep 2018 22:30:14
Morelos is a good player but his huffs piss me right off.

27.) 28 Sep 2018 22:06:40
Well said kaz.

28.) 28 Sep 2018 22:40:19
Morelos is terrible. He’s a shocking finisher, you never fancy him to score a 1 one 1, a free header or when a ball gets flashed across the box you never fancy him to get on the end of it and the rare times he does he’s offside because his movement is still poor at 22. He lacks pace and plays the wrong pass a large percentage of times because of his failure to know who’s around him. A complete lack of discipline and will cost us more points than gain us this season. Should’ve been replaced in the summer time or like I said even back in January replaced then, brutal.

29.) 28 Sep 2018 22:41:59
Why get rid of him? he’s been outstanding so far this season. we know he has a hot head, but he’s a young guy. who can we buy that would be as good as him? we would need to pay mega money for a replacement.

30.) 28 Sep 2018 22:43:31
Been a while since my last post. Feels like an age. Missed the banter. Just to say that anyone who has watched Rangers this season knows that El Buffalo is our best player by a mile when on song and he’s becoming more consistent. If he’s playing in the championship or EPL he’d be automatically worth over £20m. Timposters are the only ones implying we should sell him imo.

31.) 28 Sep 2018 22:48:09
Maybe a bit over the top - Suarez was a liability (with the biting etc.) until he was about 30 and still managed a move to Barca! Morelos will hopefully wisen up sooner and to be fair he hasn't been on Suarez level so maybe we just need to give the young man more time with Stevie G who possibly sees a bit of the Suarez personality in him.

32.) 28 Sep 2018 22:55:19
6counties strikes again.

33.) 29 Sep 2018 05:38:11
Thankyou all 22 wow.

34.) 29 Sep 2018 08:01:22
We are all Morelos.

35.) 29 Sep 2018 09:14:55
I have to laugh at the Morelos haters The problem. is Celtic have left themselves short upfront ever since Dembele wanted away and I bet you my bottom dollar this is where this is coming from

Ohh did you hear the latest? Morelos now has a few caps for Colombia out and he's just 22yo

The boy will be class and if Gerrard can get the best out of him He will get 20+ in the league alone!

36.) 29 Sep 2018 11:48:18
Correct Kazmania82 🇬🇧.

37.) 29 Sep 2018 20:24:48
Jesus christ, look how well things are going right now and the direction the club as a whole is moving and we have people arguing about Morelos, THE BOY HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE WORLD CLASS, JUST GOT HIS FIRST CALL UP FOR COLOMBIA, ALTHOUGH HE'S GOT A TEMPER HE IS STILL RIGHT NOW A CRACKING WEE PLAYER WHO GIVES DEFENDERS HELL AND CHIP'S IN WITH GOALS, all above are facts we won't get a replacement within our budget for Morelos his whole demeanor has changed since Stevie took charge and with him just signing a new contact a good 2/ 3 years proper nuturing and the wee man could be worth big big bucks the way the game is going, Aye Dembele was a good player but look at his career kicking around at Fulham as a kid and then plying his trade in the same league that Alfredo is now. Forget focusing on the bad points in his game because there a a hell of a lot more pro's than con's and he could be a huge asset for us down the line.

26 Aug 2018 09:20:43
Read in a couple of rags we are after Nathan Dyer. My cousin just finished an 18 month contract in Swansea (he told me Swansea fans were up in arms when we looked like getting Mcburnie) and I know he watched them quite a lot last season. He could not remember anything good or bad about Dyer still was playing at EPL level at 30 may be worth a punt.

Bluepete

1.) 26 Aug 2018 09:50:12
Could only see it if we need cover in the meantime for Jamie Murphy.

2.) 26 Aug 2018 10:00:29
I think he would be good option. Someone of that ilk who has pace to threaten but experience that he can bring to a relatively young team and offer support whilst Murphy returns from injury. We could do worse than Dyer in my opinion.

3.) 26 Aug 2018 20:34:54
we should've got mcburnie.

4.) 26 Aug 2018 22:10:59
We need a player that can play left wing and centre mid.

5.) 26 Aug 2018 23:10:55
Need a real big strong controller of the box. A player who other teams hate playing against who do you think. I think McCauley would be good cover for Murphy v.

06 Jun 2018 14:43:34
With my one and only bit of Info, Goldson, now looking likely. Some other rumour/ news/ gossip my dad and a couple of his friends just back from London. They were talking about Terry maybe coming to us and a guy from Elite something overheard and told them he was from Terry's agents and they had so far had no contact.
On a more important note with so many of you disagreeing I am crap at football I spoke to my old Sunday team coach. He went white twitched a little and said"You have more chance of playing for Rangers". So I'm sending my C. V. to S. G. and I'm younger than McAuley.

It's almost 20 years since I last had a bookies bet on football, have a standing pint and a nip bet with one good Celtic friend and a fiver with another, I won £191 bet on the gee gees yesterday. So I lumped a bullseye on us to win 3-1, no clue why, I was happily counting my money and ARGHH we scored did I tell you I hate Defoe? :)

1.) 02 May 2021 19:53:56
Well in mate. Put it away for a rainy day which is the mora. 👍.

2.) 02 May 2021 20:08:34
At least you got the chance to see the pure joy on Jermain's face. Not everybody can say they've scored in a big derby match like this.

3.) 02 May 2021 20:58:46
Boom see ye later. Boom see ye later and into the corner. Smile from ear to ear. Loved it mate. Class.

1 year ago this month we found out my dad had 2 terminal challengees, lifelong Rangers man, and although we were sure we were winning the title we lost him in December. I was just thinking how many others, who had been through the last few years of misery, sadly did not see our triumph.
I think I'm turning into a pessimist next year might be hard very interesting to see our ins and outs this summer. If we don't win all our games some will be asking for Sir Steven Gerrard's head :) but seriously look where we have come in less than 3 years.

Your dad will be partying up there with all the blue noses who unfortunately aren't with us anymore. don't worry big man next will take care of itself just enjoy this years joy first.

3.) 10 Mar 2021 19:20:25
Many times i've posted on here regarding all our family members and friends who are so sadly, no longer with us 😞 So here's to all our absent family members and friends, i raise my glass 🥃🙏 God Bless each and every one of them 🙏My own father that i lost almost 10 years ago now, was the great man that took me as a young boy to all rangers games 👍He was my biggest influence who introduced me to glasgow rangers 👍My late father followed rangers everywhere himself. He'll be looking down so proud of his team, my team and all you guys team, winning our 55th league title and he'll be up there with all our absent friends and family members, cheering from the sky 🙏We will always carry those who can't be here, in our hearts forever 💓.

4.) 10 Mar 2021 19:40:15
Was listening to the lad Scott Allan and his battle against heart issues last six months.
Despite what some on here think off him I wish him the best off health. his family supported him as did hibs, but one other man talked to him every day and supported him.
Andy Halliday.
So if Andy can support him I’m sure others can, god bless the lad and his family.

5.) 10 Mar 2021 19:52:48
Of course we can I always said at the time the boy choose family security over his loyalty to rangers he got a 4 year deal at 10k a week off celtic. We weren't offering near that, that sort of money sets you up for life, and way his health is a bet he doesn't regret getting as much money as he could. Football is a short career you need to make as much as you can. Forgive and forget we moved on. I wish the boy the best of luck with his health battles.

6.) 10 Mar 2021 20:16:13
Good post Baxter. When he went to them he had type 1 diabetes.
Also as hibs said they would not sell to us.

7.) 10 Mar 2021 20:47:46
Last year on the 2nd of April at 0115 in the morning I encountered a junkie in my house I rugby tackled him and thought he punched me but I soon discovered that I'd been stabbed three times I list my spleen and suffered a punctured lung, I died twice in hospital but through the great work of the doctors and nurses I pulled through. I didn't think I'd see another game of football let alone this. It really has brought it home how long our journey was and how many who gave so much, Sandy jardine, tam Forsyth and many others that I can only hope are looking down smiling. 🇬🇧.

8.) 10 Mar 2021 20:56:31
I agree John25,as health most definitely comes before football! I also wish scott allan all the very best wishes regarding his health issues 🙏 Doesn't matter who you play for your health is your wealth!

9.) 10 Mar 2021 21:33:26
Take it easy bluepete, enjoy the moment and I'm sure your dad is looking over you with a smile mate👍.

11.) 10 Mar 2021 22:35:45
Glad you're okay Livibear, not a great experience to encounter, the main thing is you survived it mate, take care.

12.) 10 Mar 2021 23:39:54
My only brother died 6 years ago aged 46 mate so I can fully understand how you feeling,

13.) 10 Mar 2021 23:59:45
Well done for not dying livibear and I bet your glad to be alive. Quite a bad ordeal you've gone through and good news your OK.

14.) 11 Mar 2021 06:30:14
I love every day and it's been made so much better this year. The junkie only got 6 years and 8 months. So the SNP don't just fail our club they fail us all.

15.) 11 Mar 2021 06:38:23
I remember the story in the papers Livi, if it's the right one. Are you the guy that was in the army? If it is you, the wee scumbag left you in some state. Hope you're doing well mate.

16.) 11 Mar 2021 07:56:12
God bless you Livibear, hope you're fully recovered now pal🙏 Total scumbag these no use to society f*****s! 😡You fought and won you're fight mate and that's brilliant to hear that 👍🇬🇧Take care my friend and i'm glad you're on here on this site talking about the famous 😁.

The justice system in uk is absolutely a mess. caught carrying a knife should be automatic 2 years, stab someone should be 15 automatically. Far too soft on knife crime especially here.

25 Jan 2021 12:23:01
SGL I know you weren't one of them but the number of posters who wanted rid of Gerrard and now it's full of praise. A lot of us, me included, thought last year was the year until our unfathomable demise in form are still afraid of a similar collapse now.

Bluepete

1.) 25 Jan 2021 12:43:32
A lot of people on here not only wanted rid but shamefully called our manager a clown and a halfwit. To see how far we have progressed since the dark days of Pedro is quite astonishing and I'll go on to say that if the boss decides to stay with us for the next few years we will dominate Scottish football. Investment is in the wings while Bevco are on their uppers with serious skeletons also rattling there. I can totally understand the pull of Liverpool for Steven. I think he is destined to be their manager though I hope it is not for a while yet.

2.) 25 Jan 2021 13:18:41
Its football mate, and its what football supporters have done and will do forevermore

People in football change they're opinions, views, and especially they're emotions almost daily, and always say things they don't really mean, usually caused by frustration
Its all about these things, no amount of bullying tactics like telling others what your saying is fact, or you know nothing about football, or ridiculing others opinions, as we have all done, should change the way football fans react to situations, nor should it,

Im pretty certain 90% of people screaming for the managers head didn't really want him gone, they are venting emotional stress, like football fans will always do . No matter what keyboard warriors tell them.

3.) 25 Jan 2021 13:41:58
Only 9 wins to title maybe less if the tic can't get another win.

4.) 25 Jan 2021 13:54:59
So very true Tomthumb12.

5.) 25 Jan 2021 14:11:27
8 wins n a draw blackness due to goal difference, unless celtic manage to claw back s 27 goal deficit.

6.) 25 Jan 2021 14:22:18
I'm sure SG said it would take 3 years to build a squad, bang on track.

7.) 25 Jan 2021 14:23:16
I was one of them thought it was stupid to appoint sg in the first place but boy was I wrong.

8.) 25 Jan 2021 14:47:26
100% correct Seeker, with one infamously getting a timeout ban from the site for his bitter tirade against Gerrard. 👍
Thankfully some of us could see the wood for the trees and that's a fact. 😜🤣.

9.) 25 Jan 2021 15:04:19
They'll all be very happy to be proved wrong but it won't temper their poor attitude and negativity towards our players or manager when we have our next poor result.

Some would call them "Sunshine Supporters" or "unbelievers" but not me!

Gerard, Morelos, Tav, Goldson, Aribo, Kamara and Barasic would be long gone if the board had bought into the experts view on here.

10.) 25 Jan 2021 22:32:02
With you there DK. The abuse Dave King used to get on here was shocking . You . John myself and a few others stood up for him amidst a barrage of venom.
I don’t blame the guy for heading out . only hope he returns to ( god willing ) unfurl the flag . I for one will have a tear in my eye for sure 🙏.

18 Jan 2021 10:15:58
The problem, I see, is not that we drew against the bottom team, but that again our overall performance was poor. Again, only IMO, we haven't had a really good team performance since and including St. Mirren. Having said that I dread to think what our results would have been 2 seasons ago with; Arfield, Jack, Katic and a player of Roofe injured. The team has vastly improved but we need a really good game how do we get it?

We are winning but I can't remember the last time we played well, imo we were have been lucky the past month.

2.) 18 Jan 2021 11:47:27
100% agree guys definitely worrying as you never know what can happen in football.

We have not had a good team performance since and including the St. Mirren loss. We desperately need a performance where most play well. Think back 2 years how would we have coped without: Arfield, Jack, Katic and a player of the class of Roofe. IMO we would have lost a good few games missing those players. S G really needs to get the guys inspired.

Bluepete, think you’ve nailed it, now we have a mentality that can win and earn points without being at our best. Need to improve though if any ambition of progressing in Europe and lifting Scottish Cup.

2.) 17 Jan 2021 20:48:48
Think were coping just fine without Katic. Goldson has come on leaps amd bounds simce got solid defensive partner.

3.) 17 Jan 2021 21:14:32
Still think big fill is our best natural defender.

4.) 17 Jan 2021 21:23:06
Paul Goldson was at fault for the goal the day as well as tav.

5.) 17 Jan 2021 21:49:31
This league is far from over we need to understand that as right now we have not enough hunger and think just getting by is enough.

6.) 17 Jan 2021 22:36:09
Rather be 21 points in front though.

What a load of single fish. Why WHY make up stories? I have only once had info about a signing and that was Goldson. Who would we drop for Shinnie? nonsensical.

SG is a young manager he will make mistakes, so does everybody who does anything, I believe 2 of his biggest mistakes have been trying to please the fans. i. e. Lafferty ( which I predicted and, breaks my heart to say it) Davis my fav. Rangers player, he's not even a shadow of his former self. I think his treatment of Katic has been poor too.
He brought in a lot of players and we have had some stellar performances but far too many lacklustre or downright abysmal like yesterday. Hopefully we can sign Kent (permanent) I think he has more chance of being struck twice in the same place than getting into the current Liverpool team. Perhaps the Scouse ED. could kindly give us his views. and 3 more ( of similar or better) and really press next year. The problem will be getting rid of the dead wood, thankfully 4 are loanees.

Still heads up and I'll be back for more next week.

{Ed001's Note - Kent is very unlikely to get a place in the first team next season, so I would think there is a chance of him leaving. Depends a lot on the lad himself, and if he is happy to continue to be farmed out or wants to go and prove himself away from Liverpool on a permanent basis. Will he want to walk away from the comfort and security of the money and support and take a chance?}

It seems to me most SPL managers are bitter this year, not only against us, even SG started that way a lil with his, justified imo, pop at the standard of refs up here. Since then he has been nothing but respectful about our opposition.

If Morelos was sent off for dangling his foot over McKenna then its no sending off, there was no stamp, if however he was sent off for simulation, then I 100% agree. McGregor definite penalty. Tav. same and utter stupidity.

As an "homegrown youngster" Patterson can still play.

If his positioning was on par with Goldson imo Katic is the better player. Seriously quick and great in the air. Hope he comes through the injury.

I'm supportive of wales, NI, and yes even England if we ain't involved. Last week I was watching Sweden v Ukraine and while they were playing 3 times in 10-15 mins they mentioned Sterling, great player, I got angry and switched off. The punters are the problem.

I thought it was a pretty even game though they had the edge. Great second goal but why was the goalie so far up the pitch?

Aye Defoe's injury time goal a few weeks ago did me:) but like you Coops was glad to lose. After all the problems and heartbreak over the last few years this is SWEET just wish we all could have been there. I'm pretty sure we will lose a few favourites but I'm confident they will be in areas we have cover.
