Guys, just back from working down in Southampton and met Kyle lafferty at Glasgow airport. He confirmed he's in talk with rangers!

absolutely pray your wrong.

2.) 28 Jul 2016 21:08:13
Aye he's going to tell a complete stranger his plans. I can't wait until we sign this striker.

3.) 28 Jul 2016 21:09:59
Hope not was useless the first time round.

4.) 28 Jul 2016 21:23:46
I would give everything NOT to have him back even if he stops his off field behaviour I still don't rate him as a top centre forward in my opinion we need someone more mobile and more prolific he brings unwanted front page paper headlines and not enough back page ones that's before I get into sueing rangers walking out not waiting to get the gers a transfer fee like Davies did etc I feel we should move onto other targets I'd honestly stick to dodoo waggy miller and a youngster before bringing him back and I want gers to bring someone in!

5.) 28 Jul 2016 22:05:12
Hooly he was actually running about the arrival hall shouting it out at the top of his voice.

No way will he be back at ibrox- the club know how unpopular he is.

6.) 28 Jul 2016 22:48:06
It is believable if you think about it, all these other rumours are so far fetched and a guy says something that acctualy sounds feasable and its blown out! Wouldn't be surprised if it's not far from the truth!

7.) 28 Jul 2016 22:48:09
why would the board care how popular he is with fans? Did that stop them resigning Miller when all the fans were singing stick him up your arse? They done it anyway and were proven correct in doing so.

8.) 29 Jul 2016 00:55:39
Lafferty would do a job.

9.) 29 Jul 2016 07:45:15
Pierre you're correct he could do a job, cleaning, painting a bit of weeding and any other odd jobs needing done at Ibrox.

lets not be too quick to judge here. while i too was very very disappointed with the way things went down with player contracts and the sale of the club etc. perhaps looking at what has been going on with court cases and sponsorship deals etc maybe just maybe we can all take a step back and think. maybe what these guys said has been true. many bears fans were applauding charles green and now they hate him. i for one would welcome Steve Davis, Steve Naismith, Kyle Lafferty back as those were some of the best players in our squad at the time and are still preforming and a high standard and would do a great job in getting us back to where we belong (providing MW and DW want them) beating celtic winning leagues and runs to european cup finals.

11.) 29 Jul 2016 09:06:44
he's a good player better than Miller, o'halloran etc.

12.) 29 Jul 2016 09:22:22
100% agree with you Stirling, I have said similar numerous times and been slaughtered by the same guys. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I like yours.

13.) 29 Jul 2016 10:21:07
i have no problem with lafferty coming back TBH whos pockets would have been lined with any transfer money we got for these players i doubt it would have the clubs but naismith is never welcome back IMO he publically went out and slated the club that's a no no for me.

14.) 29 Jul 2016 10:58:20
HE IS NOWHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS MILLER!

he wouldn't be a popular signing to say the least and not because he walked out more to do with the fact he is worse than me and I have two left feet!
that being said I agree i'd have davis and naisy back in a heart beat they are better now than when they left and are 10 times more effective than laffatme!
would honestly give my season ticket back if we where to sign lafferty as our main striker.

15.) 29 Jul 2016 11:55:10
You would have naismith back. Did u see his press conference where he basically said rangers were dead. I'd have anyone back apart from whittaker and naismith. And at this time of course he's better than miller. Miller is a wonderful pro but he should not be anywhere near the starting 11.

16.) 29 Jul 2016 14:41:08
Kenny Miller before lafferty all day long! better goal scorer and at his age still works harder than lafferty ever will no contest for me.

17.) 29 Jul 2016 18:01:23
He's not better than Kenny Miller and Miller is a legend as well. However he us a good player and like Naismith regardless of what appeared to be a lights at our club they two are both Rangers men through and through. I am now repeating myself that thieves and scoundrels were running our club and bleeding it dry and these lads all knew that and we're also being robbed. So let's cut them a bit of slack and if they ever do come back they should be made welcome .
You must be some player James if you are better than big Laffs😀.

18.) 29 Jul 2016 22:27:36
Waghorn scored about 28 goals last season and was injured for a couple of months. So why the hell would we sign lafferty. Not good enough for us.

19.) 30 Jul 2016 00:31:00
I could go on about how he jumped ship like many others I won't mention. However I quite frankly think he's fair ta schite and really don't want him anywhere near ibrox. It's not bitterness, I don't rate him and he doesn't deserve to play alongside Lee Wallace, insulting for me. So in short, I hope you're making it up!

20.) 30 Jul 2016 10:20:23
Steven Davis got us money when he left (look it up) and would be welcomed back, Lafferty did not. Lafferty left us high and dry when we were at our lowest (as did others that I'll not mention) He walked away, got his greedy big signing on fees because his contract was ripped up, effectively on a technically. Others who had little history with the club stayed, he portrayed himself as a life long fan and sold us out. He got to stroll about Seria A and the premiership while folk like Lee Wallace rolled up there sleeves and slogged the lower leagues. We then get back to the SPL, sign some quality players and get back to old firm games and this guy wants to stroll back through the gates. You kidding me? It would be insulting seeing him on the same pitch as Lee Wallace.

21.) 30 Jul 2016 12:03:49
Have to agree with you JS, I really don't care too much about the guys that "walked away" after the shambles that went on at our club, as any fees would have just swollen the pockets of the theives and crooks that were sucking our club dry.

However, Naismith and Whittaker can go and die as far as I care, I get leaving for financial and security reasons, but putting the boot in to the fans that you were supposed to care for (and in Naismith's case - be one of) is unacceptable.

22.) 31 Jul 2016 15:15:47
Kenny for me too. Tho neither of them is a good finisher, Kenny is a good Gers man, Lafferty thinks he is, , but we shouldn't judge a young man on stupid statements and acts when he was a young and silly boy, saying that I don't fancy him back here, unless of course you never made a stupid statement when you were young?
Tommy.
