Wayne Rooney is a free at the end of the season. Do you think Pedro could do a deal with Jose? If we get rid of say 10 of our shite players we could maybe pay him around 80k a week. We would get that back on shirt sales etc and media rights. I heard the chairman was buying the TV station Dave, Does anyone know if that deal will be done soon? I recon we could rake it in broadcasting our games on a PPV or a pay monthly say 10 quid a pop. say 1,000000 of our supporters subscribe that's 10,000000 a month income alone with a profit of maybe 75% on that. We could afford a few top class players using that business model. I recon this has been the chairmans plan all along!

Keep the faith. It was an idea lads

4.) 04 Apr 2017 19:00:45
How you getting 80k a week by getting rid of 10 rubbish players? 😂

5.) 04 Apr 2017 19:02:42
A just hope kenny gets a new deal he at least deserves it

6.) 04 Apr 2017 19:09:51
It was a idea a genuinely thought u where having a laugh wow I'll have a couple a pints of what your on

7.) 04 Apr 2017 19:13:57
Give me strength this page is comedy gold

8.) 04 Apr 2017 20:23:54
😂😂😂brilliant.

9.) 04 Apr 2017 20:30:03
Aye ok lads. So explain why DK is buying Dave? Eh? Because he wants his own TV deal to make us more money. Use your heads

10.) 04 Apr 2017 20:33:30
Another thing. Why should we not go for Rooney? Pedro and Jose are pals and Rooney has enough money to do him 10 lifetimes. Maybe he can give a bit back to football and help us out. Everton are the blues from Liverpool and that's who he is a blue. We are the blues from Glasgow so why not?

11.) 04 Apr 2017 20:50:39
Del, you do realise that Dave King buying Dave was an April fools joke? And let's just say we got rid of ten of our players for Rooney. That means your squad would be down to about 14 players with no wage money left to get anybody else. Then what happens if he got injured? I cannot believe I'm having to explain this to you. Please tell me you're on the wind up😂 There's a lot of other teams that wear blue. Maybe we can get Hazard as well because Chelsea wear blue.

12.) 04 Apr 2017 21:09:18
He's clearly at it or just really thick

13.) 04 Apr 2017 21:43:44
Dumb as **** haha . Cracker

14.) 04 Apr 2017 21:56:48
Cheers Espekay.
He thought the Dave thing was an April fool. Does he not know April fool is April the 1st. I read it today and its April 4th. So can't be April fool.

15.) 05 Apr 2017 00:00:11
Sorry del but you are either thick or have escaped from the looney bin. I'm always the first one to stick up for rangers supporters but I've never heard so much drivel in all my life. Get a grip mate. Your making us all look bad! Lol

16.) 05 Apr 2017 07:12:17
Do you really think that Wayne Rooney is going to say, stick China and your 700k a week salary, MLS, or any other premiership team to come to Rangers and play in Scotland? Deary me.

17.) 05 Apr 2017 08:33:40
Wayne Rooney hates chinese food I seen it on the TV, he prefers an Indian so why would he go to China? Tell me that? He would have nothing to eat!

18.) 05 Apr 2017 09:06:15
He's at the wind up lads and u keep taking the bait haha

19.) 05 Apr 2017 10:59:45
Must have some life to be writing essays like that for a wind up

20.) 05 Apr 2017 12:20:32
Your not funny mate - not even as a wind up - go to the library - get a dictionary and look up satire - you will find out what it really means- then go to cash converters and sell your phone and gie us aw piece -

21.) 05 Apr 2017 14:11:26
Here's an idea. Say the Old Firm were to buy Dave or something could WE then not bid and take SPFL games? Amongst others :)

22.) 05 Apr 2017 14:12:38
Has everybody forgetten that Wayne Rooney is a massive Celtic fan. He has been to countless Celtic games against us. He would sign for Rangers if we matched his current wage at United.

23.) 05 Apr 2017 16:14:25
well done del1976, got a few bites there bhoy!
lmfao reading this . he doesn't like chinese food i saw it on tv! absolute classic

24.) 05 Apr 2017 16:16:35
good one del but u might actually be onto something with the tv deal if we could get our own channel and say even 100,000 got it a month that's still an extra 12 million a year and i'd like to think we could get 100,000 fans at least signing up for this

25.) 05 Apr 2017 16:23:41
Del1976
Let's say he has bought Dave to get a TV deal you would need to include all teams in the deal split revenues do you think the money would just go to Rangers remember there is two teams on the park not just us it's rumoured BT will take over the sponsorship of Scottish football what would they say if we decided to just screen our own games not a hope of A. us signing Romney and B. us signing our own TV deal

26.) 05 Apr 2017 16:24:38
That's the best post ive ever seen on here del, sorry to burst your bubble but 1 we don't have proper money to spend,2 Rooney is a massive Celtic fan, he was at ibrox supporting Celtic

27.) 05 apr 2017 16:29:46
could only make sense if we turned that dave channel into a ppv channel

28.) 05 Apr 2017 20:01:35
The majority of Scotland has android boxes were we can see rangers tv so i can't see 100,000 people subscribing tbh

29.) 05 apr 2017 20:18:03
del
their shirt may be blue but their tradition is same as celtic

30.) 05 Apr 2017 23:14:16
😂😂 got to say I enjoyed reading that lot 😂😂

31.) 06 Apr 2017 16:25:11
biggest joke of all is the amount of celtic fans on here

32.) 06 Apr 2017 20:54:26
Both del and James Stirling are on the right tracks, one hundred thousand bears sign up for a tenner a month, that's twelve million a year, that would help us move to a more fan controlled club away from the grip of charlatans like green and white.
Look at the German model.

What would I do with the twelve million a year? I'd finance our move to English bottom tier and move through the league's to Europe's 5th biggest league (financially) the championship. Then after that who knows, let our next chapter begin.

33.) 06 Apr 2017 22:43:13
This thread has been hilarious but just to keep pointing out the madness would this proposed idea not be called 'rangers tv'. Think i've heard of it 😅.

04 Apr 2017 15:54:30
Was down at Murray Park today with the lad getting a few shirts signed. Well done to Kenny Miller stopped and chatted for a bit with some other first team players. They were saying no one in the team is safe next season unless they all buck their ideas up. Pedro has told them if they perform like they done before he arrived they will be out of the door. Pedro has been given the go ahead to start playing the youth as that's the future with a few more experienced heads amoungst them. The team will be happy to finish a strong second with maybe a cup win next year. To be honest that seems fair enough. There is not much money around they were saying and its a bit of a self sustainment period for the next 2 years. I am glad I went down. Good solid info from the horses mouth.

Del1976

1.) 04 Apr 2017 16:44:51
I want too believe this but after your other post I can see you have a wild imagination

2.) 04 Apr 2017 17:30:40
Lol yip miller etc told u the in. s an out. s gees a break i took ma lad every yr tae murray park an it was a hi sign pic bye lol no a meeting outside the gates some players too sneeked out the bk gate of murray park

3.) 04 Apr 2017 17:43:53
Kaymer, I am telling you that's what happened and that's what was said. You were not there so clamp it mate. Kenny was being honest and upfront and I was just passing on the news mate

4.) 04 Apr 2017 18:46:28
If that is true then I hope that Pedro has been given a massive transfer kitty because there won't be many of the current lot left!

5.) 04 Apr 2017 20:30:50
I recon about 3-5 mil and whatever he brings in with the dross we have at the moment

6.) 04 Apr 2017 21:59:22
Like I said earlier keep off the crack.

7.) 04 Apr 2017 22:08:19
well say he does get 5 mil. sells 8 players surely that would give us about 5 and a half total? that's not too bad

8.) 05 Apr 2017 07:15:24
Think that's being a bit presumptuous that 8 of our players would be worth 500k - if he gets 5 million to spend and then sells 8 and has a total of 5.5 million lol.

9.) 05 Apr 2017 08:49:45
he wil get that easily

10.) 06 Apr 2017 17:03:12
5 million kitty sell 8 players then we will have 4.5 mil to spend lol need to pay team to take em

03 Apr 2017 19:54:55
A newspaper reporting that Hyndman is focusing on Rangers this season but not ruling out joining dhims next year.

Del1976

1.) 03 Apr 2017 21:10:02
He'll never go, believe me

2.) 03 Apr 2017 20:56:05
Agenda as follows: Whilst trying to trim squad and raise funds we MUST find a CH in the mould of big Amo!

A fast attacking left wingers and a CF/ ST. There is one player that I think is within our budget outfit these positions that I would love to see at Ibrox. A fast technical Att Mid called Ozturk who currently plays at Wallsall (btw don't play FM) anyways ye know when u see a player and know he would rip up the SPFL well I get this feeling about this guy.

He's 23-25 Turkish and cost Wallsall 250k and I wish I could bring him to the attention to Caixinha or anyone at Ibrox. Watch out for him!

3.) 03 Apr 2017 20:57:11
His life would be made hell. Who does brenda drop to put him in?

4.) 03 Apr 2017 22:56:41
Based on Celtics valuation criteria the would need to fork out about £20million for Hyndman lol.

5.) 04 Apr 2017 00:59:32
Andy. big Amo? Ok he scored winner in 2003 cup final but he was a bombscare. thought he was Baresi. when in fact he was more Konterman. his trying to beat 3 men on halfway line led us losing late goal V Monaco to put us out of Champs League. need a Butcher or Gough. or even Cuellar

6.) 04 Apr 2017 11:41:31
Suppose when I think about the type of CH we need I would like a defender who is built like a tank and Amo had the type of stature I think we need. If we keep Hill which I'm not 100% sure Caixinha will but I think due to finances we should instead of shelling out for 2 CH's but Caixinha may well be able to recycle his wages on a free?

Think we must get a really solid defence that could mean that Tavs goes. Again this decision is swayed a lot because of our finances as Tavs would be good to have around. Really hope King etc back the Manager or Europa group stage is pie in the sky and this Competition I think will have an impact on our dealings with Ashley!

7.) 04 Apr 2017 11:47:15
I have to agree, Amoruso was average at best. Under pressure great but plenty of time he was woeful. Loved that big guy though.

🔴⚪🔵

8.) 04 Apr 2017 11:53:54
big amo was a class defender mate pointing out a mistake or even 5 mistakes he made doesn't prove otherwise most fans loved amo and he was a big solid defender who saved our arse more than he made mistakes.

butcher gough brilliant defenders but would be sent off every other week in todays game and cuellar yes he was class and so was big bougy but i'd still prefer a big amo all day of the week.

9.) 04 Apr 2017 14:30:02
Amo was everything that we are lacking in a captain today. Strong, hard, willing to take responsibility and great at motivating his team mates. I would be delighted if we could find someone like him for our team today!

10.) 04 Apr 2017 18:46:29
I wish we had big amo now, as for Emerson of course he would sign for Celtic, the boys from Texas, he doesn't care about the old firm divide

11.) 04 Apr 2017 18:51:56
Is that the Amo the fans booed every time he touched the ball against I think Kilmarnock

12.) 05 Apr 2017 14:19:30
Amo was superb, a wonderful captain who played the way a Rangers Captain/ player should play

Souness in the daily rag stating he thinks Pedro will struggle. what's your thoughts bears?

Del1976

1.) 05 Apr 2017 08:09:38
Time will tell, however I've never backed any of Souness' predictions.

2.) 05 Apr 2017 14:21:53
My early impressions are that he'll struggle too but I'll reserve any criticism until after he's had a transfer window and time to allow his team to gel. The situation at the weekend was avoidable, if players are ill or injured then they shouldn't be near the squad, simple as that. Hearing that the team had no structured formation is concerning too, this isn't league 2 where that sort of thing could wash, I think he was fortunate that we drew the game because I think he'd have got a lot of stick for doing what he did if we'd lost against Motherwell.

3.) 05 Apr 2017 15:08:48
Its only his opinion but let's judge the guy in January at least

4.) 05 Apr 2017 16:18:21
listen souness is just raging because he wanted the job lol.

naw but in all seriousness no one will be able to tell untill this point next year if he has done what's needed as we can't judge him playing about with a sqaud that's not his and let's face it this is our worst ever season in the spl.

5.) 05 Apr 2017 16:38:02
I would be amazed if Pedro makes it. In my opinion he won't get sufficient funds to start a revolution so it has to be evolution and that takes time. He had 2 youngsters in for the Killie game. Now if they have a stinker everyone is going to be on Pedros case. Next issue is if Rangers get stuffed against Aberdeen on Sunday then Celtic at Hampden then there is more pressure. He does not know Scottish football or the pressure that is coming his way unless he wins every week. Souness is correct and fans expect too much.

6.) 05 Apr 2017 17:07:04
Imo Caixinha's personality is spot on for the Rangers job, I get the feeling that the players will take to him as a leader and u can just tell that the players won't need find out what kind of reaction he would give to a player that either showed disrespect or a lack of commitment, you get the feeling that he would raise hell and put a player in his place be it in private or there and then on the training ground or dressing room AND I would hope he's the type of guy that if a player did act like that he would also be able to reconcile if the player put it right.

THIS is something that over time Warbs was found out not being able to possess which leads to players losing respect for a man! If a player does something or said something to the Manager especially in front of others Warbs it seemed avoided confrontation and would rather go about it in a way which done him NO favours. Prob got Weir to ask player not to turn up, maybe sending a wee letter about a fine or suspension! Then after X amount of time a wee meeting with others there!

This I think was the personality of Warbs which in no way is acceptable at Ibrox let alone Glasgow! It took a while for it to become apparent but its what I think! That's why I'm so happy to see a Manager that seems to have a strong personality and comes across NOT to be messed with and at the same time can develop healthy relationships with player AND give youth a chance!

So I think that side to our Manager is covered its now the way he goes about on field tactics and his eye for a player. I know most of us would like Miller to stay too BUT Caixinha may have different ideas this decision too is an important one as he must know fans feelings about this and he could play safe and keep Miller but he may gamble on another player from abroad and we all know what can happen if a new player ain't doing it at the expense of one who's tried and tested, a big decision on many levels!

7.) 05 Apr 2017 19:27:39
I think he needs to be exceptionally lucky to succeed at Rangers. I thought he got it spot on against Hamilton with the players clearly up for it and playing well however the Motherwell game was a shambles and picking injured and ill players was madness. He was lucky to get away with a draw and even when Motherwell beat us 3-1 in the playoff at Ibrox they didn't create as many chances as they did on Saturday.

Rightly or wrongly the manager is under pressure now and like a previous poster said the pressure will be greater if results do go well in the Aberdeen and 2 Celtic ones. The pressure will increase if we qualify for Europe as an early exit would raise more questions. I agree he should only be judged after the January transfer window however the reality is that he doesn't have as much time as that and the first couple of months of next season will determine how good or bad he is doing

04 Apr 2017 22:56:16
Should be a good viewing tomorrow watching Boyd and Wilson running against each other. Two of them must be the slowest pair in the SPL.

Del1976

1.) 05 Apr 2017 15:09:57
THe only problem is that Boyd is good at what he's supposed to do i'm not sure i can say the same about Wilson

2.) 05 Apr 2017 16:19:32
both very slow but boyd is smart and positioning is great where as wilso ehh the word unreliable springs to mind along with a few other words

04 Apr 2017 21:30:40
Guys does anyone know who to slip the names of a few good young players I know for the Gers? I was watching a game last week with Camby Talbot against The Four Ways pub and there was two guys around 21 year old that were outstanding. Their pace was good and one of the boys scored 6 goals. We need goals might be worth sending him in for a trial?

Del1976

1.) 04 Apr 2017 21:39:36
Aye right that's enough. You're at the wind up now. It's no funny anymore. Away and give yourself peace pal.

2.) 04 Apr 2017 21:48:59
Are you for real del? U can't be full whack man . your funny tho 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

3.) 04 Apr 2017 21:50:48
Stu is Blu: what's your point. People on hear keeping saying ex players and fans should be scouting for the club so I did. I was on my motorped last sunday and saw them kicking off and went over to watch it. what's up with that they were good players mate

4.) 04 Apr 2017 21:58:25
I'm sure they were. Rooney will be excited to learn from them next season 😂

5.) 04 Apr 2017 22:00:22
Crack is bad 4 u.

6.) 04 Apr 2017 22:05:22
No need for sarcasm Stu is Blue. If your that blue you'd be out on a Sunday scouting too. The boy that scored 6 goals was good at keeping the ball up aswell. I lost count after about 30 odd I think but got it on camera. You can't deny that's pretty skilful considering I can only do 4 sometimes 5. Normally 5 if I just use my knee

7.) 04 Apr 2017 22:39:08
@del1976 - you've obviously been using a medicine ball for keepy ups, predominantly using your napper with the Tom Kite you've been posting today!

8.) 04 Apr 2017 22:43:35
union jack? what's your point man?

9.) 05 Apr 2017 07:36:48
Del next time get them to jump on the back of your scooter straight upty Murray park keep up the good work mate

10.) 05 Apr 2017 08:28:30
Come on Del! . with those scouting tips! reveal your real name! . are you actually Franky McPartland? Tell the truth

11.) 05 Apr 2017 08:37:45
@ Wee Craigy Whyte. I have a mo-ped not a scooter. Plus its in the garage so even If I did see them I would need to put them into a taxi

12.) 05 Apr 2017 08:49:50
Sand which short of a picnick u sound like another Vatican agent keep up the good work kid

13.) 05 Apr 2017 09:00:25
An agent? I am trying to help our club. What are you doing exactly?

14.) 05 Apr 2017 09:31:32
Clearly he is on the wind-up. Ignore him and he will hopefully find something more productive to do with his time.

15.) 05 Apr 2017 09:35:47
I have to agree about the keepy ups with the medicine ball. Funniest Wednesday morning I've had in a while reading this tho. U want to pair Wayne Rooney with a 21 year old from Cammy Talbot next season?

U should apply for the director of football job Del

16.) 05 Apr 2017 10:03:35
A ran yous into the ground del lol that's what

17.) 05 Apr 2017 15:11:42
Del your posts are pure class mate i mean that. i'm going to work laughing to myself n getting funny looks👍Keep up the funnies

04 Apr 2017 20:51:18
I recon Pedro is playing mind games with Killie. I don't think that's the starting line up. I recon the two young boys will be on the bench and he is playing a bit of chess with Jig!

Del1976

1.) 04 Apr 2017 21:10:51
Think you should go play chess with the stuff your spouting on the other page about Rooney and buying tv stations 😂😂😂😂

2.) 04 Apr 2017 21:33:28
what you talking about Laudrup? He doesn't officially need to end the team in till 30 mins before kick off. He is trying to baffle big Jig. I am telling ye

3.) 05 Apr 2017 16:25:29
Del, my fellow namesake, were to start.
Yes that's the team, and as for Rooney he's a massive Celtic fan, so even if we had money to pay Rooneys wages he prob wouldn't sign, del your posts are superb, keep scouting for us mate

02 Apr 2017 22:05:38
Charlie Adam and George Boyd are free at the end of the season. I recon them two could come in and do a good job?

Del1976

1.) 02 Apr 2017 23:44:07
Wouldn't add anything. And "they play in the premier league" doesn't cut it

2.) 03 Apr 2017 08:18:42
They would add two things quality on the pitch but also about 100,000 a week to the wage bill. Adam went to Liverpool in a big contract and I'm sure he didn't go to Stoke on a smaller wage. Boyd has played just about every week for his team, do you really think he'll be looking to move away from Burnley to play in our GASH league. Time to get real folks these ain't the type of guys we'll be going for

3.) 03 Apr 2017 13:24:20
Oh WOW! mr optimism there! eh blueshaun

4.) 03 Apr 2017 14:12:04
Adam is rubbish and always has been.

5.) 03 Apr 2017 14:14:43
Boyd knocked us back a few years ago and Adam still thinks he's Zico with his 50 yard passes. Couldn't afford them anyway.

6.) 03 Apr 2017 14:19:58
Boyd is awful

7.) 03 Apr 2017 14:20:11
Thing is we need to gamble a bit and get 1 or 2 a bit higher level than we have, and make it more a bout quality than quantity.

8.) 03 Apr 2017 15:18:55
We do need quality but preferably not coming to the end of there careers like those 2. We need to be signing players with potential sell on value. No more Barton's and Senderos's please

9.) 03 Apr 2017 16:29:03
they are not quality players imo
they play in the epl doesn't mean anything there are loads of bang average players in that league
