Charlie Adam has said to have been at a boxing event in Liverpool shouting if Barton went before Jan then it would pave the way for him to resign! Whether on loan or perm deal i don't know.

He's been playing quite a bit recently for stoke so would be surprised if he was too come back, his wages just now are probably about 3 times what we can afford to pay him also! Rate him as a player, and think it's someone exactly like him that we need in the team but can't see if happening.

Exactly large bill played out of position and slaughtered by fans because he couldn't play as a winger. Never got a chance at rangers in his favoured position.

ook he has never really had anything nice to say about his time in Scotland and with smith not giving him his position to play in and fans giving him stick .
I don't blame the guy for holding a grudge and I think that would eave a sour taste in anyones mouth.

I slaughtered him as well. He was far to slow for a winger I used to hate to see his name on team sheet. When he went down to Blackpool and played his favoured position was the best player in the championship. There's been so many players over the years played out of position.

Charlie Adam has proved himself down south as someone who can cut it with the best on his day plus that left foot of his is a wand. shame we didn't keep him at Ibrox at the time. He will have a lot of offers from epl and championship clubs of wage packages we can't compete with.
Would love to see him back though.

Scottish football is a different beast from down south mate and just because u can handle one doesn't mean u can handle the other.
yes its a more competitive league but the football isn't exactly like it is in spain or Germany.
they both play tougher styles of football than the English but don't have as many rich teams in the league.

Because I don't agree with the boycotting, doesn't mean I agree with the board either but they have an excuse for selling players now, hopefully the park consortium are successful and dave king doesn't get near as I think that's another can of worms waiting to open.

Not nice to see anyone losing there job wether it be the manager or a lady with the company for 15+ But there can't be no room for sentiment here, we are losing money rapidly, so if a total clearout is needed then soo be it, no person is bigger than the club, really hope regardless of witch league we are in next season that a total clear out of all playing staff who shouldn't be here
Sorry mate, but it didn't sound right to me, Derek llambias personally taking care of complaints if true, can only be a good thing, we have been a shadow of what we should be for a few years now, the circumstance we found our self in seen to that, a think mike Ashley will be a good thing for us tbh, things may get worse before it gets better with regards to key players sold, but if it gets us on a solid financial footing then so be it, many fans may get what they have been crying for on here for years, yeah that's right kyle mcausland start getting a game lol
