Rangers have taken ex-Manchester United Under 18's player Jordan Thompson on trial. His Twitter is @x88_j and has been tweeting from Murray Park in Milngavie and has also followed Rangers Twitter account and Mark Warburton. All coming into place now!

Lad looks like a good player that can bring a lot to the championship. Some of these kids are going to be in the first team. Long live Warbs, we're no outsiders!!

2.) 05 Jul 2015 15:12:11
Thompson has just turned 18 this week so I assume he's one for the future?

3.) 05 Jul 2015 15:20:57
Signing youngsters doesn't really excite me 1 bit at this present moment, we seem to be missing the bigger picture here and are being a bit slow bringing in players ready for the 1st team, however I understand why MW taking his time as he clearly wants to make sure they are a proper fit,

4.) 05 Jul 2015 16:07:40
Now we've got the boy's club sorted, I look forward to the arrival of players who are going to be the bedrock of the first team.

5.) 05 Jul 2015 18:35:00
Hope people don't forget that this guy is the same guy who started a competition for youth football in England the guy is wanting to develop an outstanding academy we have the facility so we need these young players because we haven't enough young players to come through the ranks don't criticize mw he is only just came and let's face it these young players are potentially first team subs just like Andrew Murdoch

6.) 05 Jul 2015 19:39:48
Good point well made GeeBear. Finally there is someone in charge who can realise the potential of auchenhowie. But hey we all know ye'll win nothing with kids.

7.) 05 Jul 2015 20:51:47
The boy is 18 y will he not be playin in the first team?if yer good enough your old enough I would rather a keen young 18 year old givin his all than someone lookin for a pay day

8.) 05 Jul 2015 22:03:50
Here-here!! Well said Ryan!!

We will need another 5 decent players though. Minimum.

4 or 5 injuries and your campaign is over with a thin squad.

P45 CAMMY

9.) 05 Jul 2015 23:40:58
SenioR

Beckham, Scholes, Butt, Giggs, Phil & Gary Neville the class of 92, who says you can't win nowt with kids? Oh that's right Alan Hansen thought that in 1996 & look what happened there, so if you are good enough you're old enough

10.) 06 Jul 2015 03:37:29
Im sure SenioR was being sarcastic. Would imagine he knew what he was saying. Need a balance of outstanding young talent aswell as good players ready for the first team.

Newspaper reporting 35 year old Derby County Midfielder John Eustace has been targeted by Mark Warburton to become the new Captain of Rangers.

Gi Gi La Boucherie

1.) 20 Jun 2015 01:18:09
that's a joke of a signing imo, 35 injury prone and no sell on value wtf

2.) 20 Jun 2015 02:52:24
Davie weir was old when he joined and was a legend give it a rest, good holding midfielder something we need

3.) 20 Jun 2015 06:18:29
He would actually be a good signing if we can make it happen. He was excellent at Derby last season until his injury. It's a free transfer and be woulf bring in a wealth of experience which would no doubt have a good impact on the younger players. Yes he is 35 but like I said its a free transfer so sell on value in this case isn't really an issue. Look at Davie Weir when we brought him in, he was 36 and people laughed.

4.) 20 Jun 2015 08:03:54
If he is willing to come north
The experience he has would be valuable if other signings are youngsters

5.) 20 Jun 2015 08:08:06
Lee Wallace is my pick

6.) 20 Jun 2015 08:24:57
Thats the same John Eustace that slagged us off after last years pre season game at Derby, he called us a Glasgow pub team & a laughing stock

7.) 20 Jun 2015 09:16:35
Well the way we played this season he was spot on with his assessment!

8.) 20 Jun 2015 10:03:55
Hard to have to say it, but he was right.

9.) 20 Jun 2015 10:30:55
Lets be honest he was totally right

10.) 20 Jun 2015 11:09:31
He was Defo right we where not good at all

11.) 20 Jun 2015 11:14:12
Give him a chance. If we are going with youth we need a steady head. He is a leader something we have not had for years! Dave Weir. case closed

12.) 20 Jun 2015 11:26:19
Steady head agree, but one who is not as old and one who knows the division and teams he is playing against would be a better option.

13.) 20 Jun 2015 12:01:25
That twitter account is a parody apparently apparently. I think he will be a good addition for us. Derby fans are gutted that he has left. And could be a player that young murdoch could learn from

14.) 20 Jun 2015 13:09:28
Lee wallace for captain!

17 Jun 2015 07:56:46
A tabloid is reporting today Mark Warburton wants to make Northern Ireland winger Stuart Dallas his first signing of the Summer for a fee of £1.5 million.

Gi Gi La Boucherie

1.) 17 Jun 2015 09:19:03
I hope you're right on this one mate Stuart Dallas, is a very good player with the potential to go a long way in the game,he's young enough, strong, skillful and I know we're trying to build a team but at around that price plenty of scope for a good sell on profit.

2.) 17 Jun 2015 15:37:11
There is no need to buy Dallas as we have temps,Walsh,Aird,McKay for these positions.

3.) 17 Jun 2015 17:18:24
Sorry but aird and temps didn't even impress me last done absolutely nothing for me I will welcome Dallas potential to be a really good player

4.) 17 Jun 2015 23:18:41
Delighted if rangers get Dallas good player!

16 Jun 2015 21:30:04
31 year old Portuguese Attacking Midfielder Ricardo José Vaz Alves Monteiro aka Tarantini is set to jet into Glasgow for signing talks with Rangers this week

Gi Gi La Boucherie

1.) 17 Jun 2015 07:50:37
Gi Gi have you ever had one right?

2.) 17 Jun 2015 09:40:10
Keep the faith mate! 😂

3.) 17 Jun 2015 12:44:47
I will try!

4.) 17 Jun 2015 16:41:53
It's true couldn't make it out because it was in Portuguese but I could make out Glasgow Rangers and Tarantini search Tarantini Rangers and its on a Portuguese website called A bola

5.) 17 Jun 2015 19:42:19
I only post rumours that have been in the papers in print edition or online, if not, it won't be posted by me!

16 Jun 2015 10:43:38
@AgentScotland: Rangers want Stevie May on a Season loan with option to buy for £500k next Summer, Aberdeen are are still very much interested in a loan too.

Gi Gi La Boucherie

1.) 16 Jun 2015 15:22:23
Would be a brilliant signing great young lively player

2.) 16 Jun 2015 15:27:30
Aye a loan for May would suit Aberdeen , they probably want to help you out .

3.) 16 Jun 2015 17:05:33
Good player, hope we get him

4.) 17 Jun 2015 11:19:00
He would be a great signing and type of player we want. Players with future sell on only please, it's only way forward

Dundee have signed 24 year old Spanish defender Julen Etxabeguren Leanizbarrutia on a three-year deal who was a transfer target for Rangers.

Gi Gi La Boucherie

1.) 02 Jun 2015 16:47:00
When was he a Rangers target? And what manager was targeting him? Got to get warburton and weir for me, did you see Brentfords football last season? That's what you call a fresh start! Hope someone uses their loaf and get this guy! Lol

2.) 02 Jun 2015 17:02:06
"When was he a Rangers target?"
The S*n, 29th May 2015.
I might not believe the source myself, but it was reported.

3.) 02 Jun 2015 18:04:22
We need a manager in yesterday. Decent out of contract players who are affordable aren't going to be available for long. Anybody agree?

4.) 02 Jun 2015 18:32:26
if he was so good why did brentford let him go when they did if he was that good long before end of season

5.) 02 Jun 2015 18:58:57
i also heard him being discussed on talksport about 3 weeks ago and the views on him were not the greatest

6.) 02 Jun 2015 19:44:13
Look into why he left big wull! It certainly wasn't because of poor performance on the park! They went from possible automatic promotion to just making play offs when it was confirmed he was leaving, players were devastated.

7.) 02 Jun 2015 20:15:51
I would also wonder why no teams in England seemed very interested like Watford, derby or Newcastle?

8.) 02 Jun 2015 21:29:36
They will be interested, don't worry aboot that.If he comes to Ibrox I'll eat ma ear wax!

9.) 02 Jun 2015 22:23:11
Well gkk both derby and Watford have recently replaced their managers and he wasn't even interviewed for either job , surprising given what he achieved at Brentford.

10.) 03 Jun 2015 00:41:16
So what are you inferring, Fab? Don't remember any reports about Delia's agent's phone glowing red hot when he was being touted across Europe. That's not to say I think he's a bad manager. I don't.

11.) 03 Jun 2015 08:34:46
True Noddy but Delia had a job. I know nowt about Warburton but he was unemployed so if he is as good as made out then surely english clubs would have chased him down.

12.) 03 Jun 2015 08:40:53
Your right about dellia noddy but like I said Warburton had a great season in the championship with a very unfashionable team yet none of these teams seem remotely interested, so maybe there is something in what bigwull is saying ,I actually think it would be a good move , maybe without weir in tow you have tried the old player route many times now , I think a fresh start with a management team with no ties to the oldco would be a great move .

13.) 03 Jun 2015 16:23:27
As long as they have ties to the club, not bothered if they had business interests with the 'company'.

11 May 2015 21:33:24
Have made up a realistic list of players who are ALL out of contract this Summer who would be perfect for Rangers for next season PROVIDING we are back in the Scottish Premiership. Would say the key positions we need to fill are two Centre Backs, two Strikers and a Right Back. All stats below are from this season so far.

Hugo Rodallega (29) - Striker - 33 Appearances, 19 Goals / Currently at Fulham, Current market value at £1.76 Million

David McGoldrick (27) - Striker - 26 Appearances, 13 Goals / Currently at Ipswich, Current market value at £1.32 Million

Tim Hoogland (29) - Right Back - 25 Appearances, 5 Goal / Currently at Fulham, Current market value at £440,000

Matthew Mills (28) - Centre Back - 37 Appearances, 7 Goals / Currently at Bolton, Current market value at £2.20 Million

Alex Pearce (26) - Centre Back - 40 Appearances, 1 Goal / Currently at Reading, Current market value at £1.32 Million

Gi Gi La Boucherie

1.) 12 May 2015 08:19:14
Mcgoldrick will go for about 6 million or he may even be playing in prem with Ipswich depending on play offs lol.

Personally I feel
Jason naismith(st mitten. Rb)
Scott allan(hibs. Cm)
Lee erwin(mwell)
mark beevers(millwall. Cb)
Kevin holt(qos. Lb/lw)
mark ohara(kilmarnock. Defender)
max power(tranmere. Mid)
arlind ajeti(basel.cb weird one I know but my cousin lives in Belgium and says this kid is an absolute worldie lol)
These players could all make a huge difference all young and most are out of contract or relatively cheap.

2.) 12 May 2015 10:19:15
Think we should be looking at players under 25 with a sell on value maybe 1 or 2 older experienced players think that has to be the way forward for our club

3.) 12 May 2015 14:56:05
scott alan is only a journeyman any one with tranmere st mirren or even killie millwall are all relegation fodder

4.) 12 May 2015 15:39:47
Have to disagree on Scott Alan.he has ran the show against us all season.also the wee guy who plays with queen of the south Carmichael I think his name is.the wee guy ran the show against us on sat.worth a look

5.) 12 May 2015 15:55:27
Max power is 19 years old. loads of potential.Jason naismith is big strong fast decent on ball what more do you want wull? Cafu Daniel alves ain't going to happen he is better than what we have. Mark ohara will be playing in English premier league in 5 years Mark my words.
But we may as well keep all the players we have it's the snobbery of rangers fans that have got us in this position just because a player comes from a small side doesn't mean he is not good enough. Steven naismith Kris Boyd(killie) gues they were crap eh.

Fed up with fans saying players aren't good enough just because they don't play for a big side.

Not sure mate, but knowing Mike Ashley, he'll no doubt want all the Newcastle loanees back unless we offered him something like £2.5 million each for both Vuckic and Ferguson. The guys only out to make a profit. Businessman, no interest in football.
