Rangers looking at a loan deal for winger Salvador Agra who is 25 was on the books at Real Betis making 10 appearances and scoring 1 goal then had a few loan spells in Portugal first at Academica 14 appearances 4 goals two loan spells at Braga making 34 appearances scoring 4 goals and finally making a move to Nacional making 65 appearances scoring 12 goals
That's all I know I dunno if the deal will happen but if it does it means the Daniel Candeias deal won't be.

I highly doubt a loan will go ahead for Agra considering that he is a 1st team player.

The prospect of this really does excite me. He's such a fast player he would go past any full back in the scottish game with ease, he has a very quick turn of pace and is very agile on the ball which pairs nicely with the fact he has incredible foot work on the ball, he will assist a lot and score a fair amount for us if he had to come in so this one does really make me feel like were aiming for all the right players, some people don't like the signings so far but i disagree with them this time last year we were taking players from the likes of Accrington Stanley and other teams that maybe aren't the greatest standard of football now were aiming much higher and bringing in players from all over the place who i think have potential to make this season a good one.

Benfica have just signed Agra and fully intend to send him straight out on loan again. Apparently Agra was signed from Nacional by Benfica as a way of writing off a debt that Nacional had with Benfica. According to an article on HITC Agra is not in Benficas 1st team plans.

Would have Agra before Candeias all day long, however I would not be disappointied with Candeias in the slightest. It is encouraging we are being linked with both players, among all the other Scottish and Mexican players.

The deal for Ryan Jack should be done and dusted and announced any day now as for Carlos Pena everything has been agreed between the two clubs and player we are just waiting on a work permit witch shouldn't be a problem apparently IMO two good signings. Also negotiations are on going with Befica for winger Daniel Candeias who last season was on loan playing in Turkey where he scored 4 goals and set up 4 goals dunno to much about him tbh.

Hearing that we have offered Finnish player Serge Atakay a trial and we could be forced to look elsewhere as Bradshaw has a 900k price tag and apparently we can't afford that.

People these days don't seem to realise managers "transfer budgets" include wages now, due to the number of clauses and bonuses involved in contracts.
MW probably has spent the best part of £5m so far signing players this window when all is said and done.
Hes went full out Football Manager and rifled through the bosman market and quite rightly so! i'd much rather someone with quality came in on a free on heftier wages than take a £2m gamble on someone that's had 1 good season as it seems so many people are crying out for.

Think Aluko is a great player but our midfeild seems full and i'd hate to see players on decent wages sitting on the bench, in sayin that he is an impact player but again i'd imagine he'd be on over 10k a week here and think championship sides can offer much more to him so don't think it will happen.

I would take Aluko in a heartbeat will forever remember the goal at Ibrox (i was there) against them. They could have won the title that day at Ibrox but Aluko and the squad wanted it more that day.

Surely Aluko would be deployed as part of the forward line if we brought him back. To be honest I'd prefer him to Cummings, Bradshaw, Fletcher or Lafferty and think he would be perfectly suited to play in a forward 3 as 1 of the guys either side of Wags/ Miller.

it won't happen this was brought up a few weeks ago. he still has a grudge against rangers and was trying to sue us I doubt he will come to us . plus he it probs on 15 g a week easily if not more.

Well its nearly time for the opener of the season roll on Sunday. I hope we play the way we did against Marseille, Watford and Sheffield Wednesday if we do we should get a decent result! Anyway I don't meant to bring any negativity specially so close to the start of the season but I can't but think Herrera isn't going to get the goals for us i know he has only played a few games but in those games found him to lazy and got creating many chances. I would like to see naismith brought in he can play as either an attacking midfielder or a forward i think he will get the goals. Also Jamie walker for the wing as not sure dalcio is going to cope in Scotland either. That's just my opinion tho.

I agree fully with you. I think Herrera will be the aerial threat if anything but I would ideally like to see Naismith and Miller up front. Two similar players yes, but they would work as a unit. Both being the target man in whatever goal scoring situation. Both fast and good centre of gravity.

After reading your post and went and watched him on you tube the first goal I seen he take the ball about 35 yards out runs with it and scores he then scores loads inside the box including an over head kick.
But I would definitely say he's the 18 yard box striker with build that all us fans have been crying for if he doesn't score minimum 20 goals I will be shocked I'm more worked about morales.
I don't think there is any signing that we can make that would improve us enough too win the league I would stick with what we have as I think it will give us second place.
Sign walker in January on a pre contract. Naismith is good but unless he going to drop too 10k a week he shouldn't be signed we lost enough money from him when he left for free he doesn't deserve a big contract from us.

Why sign Walker on a pre contract and say let's accept we'll finish 2nd to Celtic because we can't secure a signing to improve us? He does improve us if we sign him now and we can't all sit here and accept 2nd best. That's not the Rangers way.

So do you think that Pedro will play the same formation and team against Well minus Hodson for Tavs.
Should Pedro play this system for all the games even against the Tic?
I think for some games we should change our formation so that we have Jack sitting in front of our back 4 in a 4-1-3-2 or a 4-1-4-1.
Honestly think we have a good squad which will only get better, but feel its still early days and games against Celtic the Sheep and prob Hibs should be played with more protection at the back.

Caceres CB formerly of juventus and samba played at Blackburn and qpr very solid defender. Can get them in on a free and we could definitely do with new CBS. Only problem is wages and would they want to come but surely there would of been no harm in approaching either of them? Also raul miereles ex liverool player think he would of done a decent job for us.
